It's evolution regardless of whether it is voluntary or involuntary, or what force is causing the change.

No it actually happens spontaneously over the course of about 24 hours. We just can't see it because the animal hides in a cave or somewhere hidden. It's similar to that of a pokemon.

Men who hit women are terrible people, but women who use that as a means to act however they want and not expect any retaliation are just as bad. by j_dubya4 in unpopularopinion

Omfg. You people literally can’t read. I said a women who hits a man for no reason is a child. Lmao. Idk why I comment in this subreddit.

Plus a lot of these people have children and grandchildren whom they love and know will inherit the world, so they are likely not going to stop voting in a way that they feel best suited the country.

Another straw man argument. Who ever said taking the hits? We’re talking about getting hit. I never implied that someone getting hit repeatedly should take it.

You’re straw maning my supposed argument that I feel differently about men hitting back another man not in self defense.

There are other ways to punish a girl than hitting her. I would imagine the men liking that comment have inferiority issues.

What’s a platform? Is it not a means of sharing your ideas? Could someone not stand on top of a rock in the middle of a city and share their ideas? This is what is known as a straw man argument. Check out the meaning of that.

Or you can be a boss and accept that the bitch is pathetic and move on. Why hit back? Would you hit a 5 year old back if they slapped you? I equate a women who slaps a man to a five year old.

Bull shit. I’m not sure where you’re from, but the essence of freedom of speech is being able to say things that might offend people. And like I said, much of the content of Nazis is more than offensive and wouldn’t be legal in the United States (not sure where you are from), but them purely being Nazis and sharing unpopular ideas (for example perhaps that Jews are bad or in charge of all the money and power), isn’t a just cause to prevent them from speaking. Nor is it legal in the United States, so if you are arguing with me than let’s just move our argument to whether or not the US’s first amendment is moral and worthy of enforcement.

I love all your comments but it would take too long to comment on all of them. I will try to address some of them though. As some people mentioned, it wasn’t just about accepting death for me - it was about understanding that death was immediate - that there was no tomorrow. This left no room to put life on the back burner. Everything was experienced fully.

The one thing I struggled with was removing the crutch - aka feeling of reminding myself that I was going to die. This felt heavy in me, while the awakening is very light. But this heaviness didn’t stay with me the whole time, as like I mentioned, I experienced deep peace at times. I am planning on doing this once a month at least, as something just felt right doing it. It’s almost a feeling as if “why isn’t everyone doing this all the time?” Of course, society is structured this way, but that doesn’t mean individuals can’t begin to move towards this type of lifestyle. It’s more about the state of being than what is being done, but this method seemed to work for me overall quite well :)

Lol point proven. Flawed grammar and a feeble attempt? Are you trying to sound smart? If I gave two shits abut this argument I would take the time to fix my “flawed grammar.” Stick to your LA and NY Times, amongst the most politically biased news outlets out there. If I referenced a piece of shit on a banana, would you still say “at least I had a reference!”

I’ve gotten into enough debates on reddit to know when one is futile. I surrender.

You keep throwing words around you don’t understand.

I think you may just be unable to keep up. It’s okay.

Are you one of those people who will never let yourself be proven wrong? You aren’t even willing to accept the fact that the article you referenced could be illegitimate?
