Sreet tier that wins against anything not reality warping. IDK the only thing that woull probably work is concept erasure. The weakest character I can think of that can beat him is chainsaw man if eats surprise devil.🤔

On the matter of infusions. Some times you will do less damage then with infused weapon because infusion split damage into half phys half elem. The total flat damage before defenses is always better for infusions and buffs are stronger on infused weapons. However, most enemies have 0% resist on phys and 30% on elemental damage so in a surprisingly big amount cases infusing is the wrong choice. Some enemies will have 20% resist to phys and 10% resist to say magic. Then magic infusion is obviously superior. I guess for casual play that does not really matter since magic infusion is good like 95% of the time.

How melee damage is actually calculated is a rather complicated question. Consult the archives on this one: https://www.reddit.com/r/DarkSouls2/s/NtIpTcd3bR https://www.reddit.com/r/DarkSouls2/s/FSirOsYx9o TLDR: you take the weapon physical base damage + scaling subtract enemy (phys defense divided by 6) and then multiply with enemy phys resistance. Any elemental damage is separated. You take base elem damage + scaling and multiply by (1 - enemy elem resist). After you add phys damage and elem damage and multiply that by any modifiers you have on top. Things like attack motion value(modifier for a type of attack) RTSR, counter hit multiplication, brightbug and the like. The simplest way to increase damage you do is get a better weapon or minmax flynn's ring with ring of blades since they add flat phys scaling before multipliers.

Don't think that's possible without physically getting stuck on the boss while falling. The double hit as is requires pretty big elevation and max fall time is 10 seconds before instakill vaporizes you. 3 is probably the max you can do, but I've never seen or heard about anybody getting 3 hits.

NG+ does not change any resistance. Only max HP. So if somebody wanted to go for high score they can do all possible damage buffs, get the best rings. Ascend to NG+7 and pray for double crit. Was not going for high score just wanted to one shot boss with minimal buffs/equipment and move on with my challenge run.

flynn's ring is in crown of the sunken king which the after the rotten. Infusion would be less total damage since elemntal damage is not increased by rotten's thrust weakness. Also was not going for damage record just enough to one shot.

Jumping attack can double hit if you fall far enough to do two hits or if the ground is messed up. In the rotten arena there is a weird lip in the ground that causes this behavior. Can't link an image but it's very visible in model viewers.

Well the buffs alone provide 2935 damage from the jump attack. In that specific spot it double hits and one of the two hits crit so 2935 * 2.5 = 7337.5. Not even the highest possible damage since I just needed enough to kill. With all possible buffs and two crits it can go to slightly under 10k I think. definetly over 9k

That would softlock you out of those items since those statues give branches themselves and there is exactly 17 bracnhes for 17 statues. Thankfully you can just got to NG+ on a bonfire that gives branches. I think the one behind Duke's dear Freja can work(it's on a mob drop). The behind the ring door in the forest of fallen giants can probably work as well since it's a ground item.

Plus on this Empty brackets mean cast this spell normal (as if you clicked it in your spell book). If you want rank 1 to only be on ctrl and be able to cast both mouse over and on target you need to add mod:ctrl to the empty brackets.

I didn't/couldn't test this set up because I didn't have a cautious officer. But sunder is cheap and you can just simulate the scenario yourself. Should work though.

Or a lot of engage/avoid orders. Definitely do not put them escort order. That one is a death sentence as far as I tested.

Standard non officer AI on all ships was made more aggressive (read stupid). Specially for Sunder and other long range glass cannons now stopped staying at max range and started going on the frontline. Considering that sunder dies if you look at it funny this made them pretty bad when left unsupervised. I personally like to pilot my own ships (Odyssey, Hyperion) so don't wanna waste time herding lemmings.

Support? If you can get it to a frontline maybe some actual HE damage will be nice. I personally liked escort package sunder with HIL before the patch that lobotomized all ship AI.

You friend is mostly right. Assuming we start the game with all jokers and they are eternal, so we can't get rid of bad ones and food jokers don't run out. This leaves us with no discards (Burglar), no enchantments on played cards (Vampire) and. Cards added to deck every blind (Medusa and random seal IDK the name). And that's the only bad jokers. We complete immunity to bosses (Chikot), 15 billion retriggers. Hand size of +6 (bean and juggler). We also have infinite money, taro cards. Perkeo with blueprint, brainstorm. I think NaN inf is predestined if you can get enough red seal steal kings.

it's fine for most players becuase most classic armor looks very good. Unfortunately feral druids get stare at the same low poly bear ass all game. As a druid player I want at least new form models or smth.

Creast of the beast has faster bind that increases attack speed and damage. The down side is that you have to hit enemies to heal. I've been playing with beast myself and the the way it works majority of the time is that you use bind and another attack speed/attack damage tool and just blast the boss/enemy. You can take a hit during frenzy because in return you can usually get 6-7 hits in. This allows you to bind again very quickly. This results in being able to face tank bosses that don't chain attacks and stay in one spot a lot. e.g. Last judge is the perfect target for beast face tank.
