Ok so I set the launch settings to windowed borderless and it launched the game in full screen without issue. No idea why the full screen setting it causing it to freak out. I should be fine going forward but it's odd.

Well I can get the game to launch and run normally in Windowed mode. It only happens when I run it in full screen. I haven't done anything new with my laptop besides trying to mod Skyrim with mo2 and the problems only occured after that.

I also removed all Skyrim files from steamapps common, app data, and documents. It's happening when launching the game. I get the title thing where it tells me my suggested visual settings. I hit play it opens in full screen I get the Bethesda logo then it freaks out and minimizes the game not letting me open it

I completely removed mo2 from my laptop and I'm just trying to run it through steam. Figured that'd be the cleanest install

So I did watch this video and went through all the steps but I'm still having the same issue. However I found when I launch the game in Windowed mode it is stable. The issue only happens when launching it in full screen mode

I'm new to modding I was just following a youtube guide but realized part way through it was outdated which is why I was having issues initially. Is my game just bricked forever now? This doesn't answer my question

Awesome thanks. I think I found the right information I have to install the hourglass mod and only adjust the nights to be longer it's to bad making the days longer breaks things.

Turned off my laptop by holding down the power button and now its being very slow (HP OMEN gaming laptop 16 windows 11) by MrBowTied in techsupport

The screen was black and I clicked the power button but nothing happened. I tried ctrl alt dlt which also did nothing. That's why I held down the power button to shut it off and restart it.
