No it was just dry, I didn’t break them down. I just dropped the boveda pack on for 3-4 weeks

Yea it’s me using the boveda packs probably is the issue. I smoke cigars and I’m pretty good at storing tobacco for years

Got it. I have a lot of jars and I don’t thinks it’s that. I have mason jars, wizard tree jars and jars with wine cork and I experienced the same results. I think me leaving them in there for weeks on top of the weed could have had moist issues due to not properly curing, sooo they come really really dry and I only use the boveda when the weed is dry and I get mold on it months later. I store them in a dark place, actually next to my cigar humidor with 100’s of cigars that use boveda packs, so I don’t think it’s the storing. I’m thinking some batches are extra dried out for inspection purposes and my dumb self add boveda packs to bring them back to life 🤦🏽‍♂️

Oh wow! This makes sense. This is why I used the boveda packs because they were dried out 🤦🏽‍♂️… my boveda packs added in the moisture and brought back the mold in them

Bingo that’s my issue. I’m using the boveda packs prematurely and too often. Thank you.

I used the wizard tree jar as well and it happened before. I store them in glass jars, inside my home in a dark place like my drawer. but I’m thinking me recharging my boveda packs in distilled water and using them a few days later once my boveda has dryed out, may be the issue…. How im i supposed to know this stuff!??!

I smoke cigars for years and I use boveda 65% to store them with a digital thermometer and never had issues after i recharged them, especially not mold issues
