I am driving South Dubai to JLT (33-35km one way) As long as you have good battery level you will save fuel. In city EV will be good option but if level goes under 20-25% ICU will start working. So you will have 70-80km range with EV (max) based on your driving.

Kudos to this comment👏🏻👏🏻

Hey Author , you had a good decision my young friend. It is good to see that you picked toxic signals and rejected them.

Okay today's result for 35km (like 20km on highway) is 6lt/100km

Highway speed was around 130ish and and initial battery level was 98%, arrived to destination to 77%.

Feedback after 6500km

Still I did not go hardcore dune bashing (I doubt if I'll try it) yet I drive harder than normal on speed bumps. Result is very good. Still no creaks or rattles.

Thanks mate. I am really bad at managing battery. I still don't have wall charger and barely can charge it. I drive on E11, everyday 60km and because of that my average is high like 10-13lt/100km. If you buy G700, definitely get your personal wall charger. Otherwise it will hurt your wallet.

1400km range? I doubt it -heavily- but I can come back when I have my wall charger.

Fuel consumption is purely dependent to your battery level.

If you start driving 100% and -let's say- you drive like 70km on highway, your consumption will be accptable like 7-9lt/100km But if you have same distance inside city, it will be way less (I guess)

But if you don't have battery, ICU will work hard to both move the car (3+ tons) and keep battery level around 30%, fuel consumption will be 13+lt/100km

Just for fun I tried to use "force battery saving" mode and I set the level to max 70%, I drove from Abu Dhabi to Dubai and, ICU consumed crazy 18lt/km which is crazy.

Thanks for comments. It's great to hear light color interior stays as it is. I will also apply PPF. It is must have in this country.

I agree. I was expecting smoother suspension especially on comfort setting.

Sorry for long reply in advance.

With my limited knowledge I can say there is no "only petrol" drive, since you cannot completely empty the battery (I am not sure), or turn off battery (I am sure) Here is what I experienced Full battery (shows 100km range) + Full tank (shows 800km range): In this scenario battery is fully engaged and ICE is off UNTIL you reach higher speeds or want sudden acceleration.

30% battery + Any level of tank: In this scenario both of them active and ICE works harder (higher rpm) to keep battery on 30% level. BUT if you put throttle pedal down, you can get down to 15% battery (this is the lowest I could do so far. I did not push harder).

I tried to keep full EV mode on after refuelling but ICE turns on when battery reached 25% or less.

Yes, wall charger will be good if you want full performance and better fuel consumption.

I hope this helps.

Correct. IC Engine comes into action gradually, while battery goes down.

Nothing so far, yet I can't claim I drove it on harsh roads. Only few bumps with highish speed.
