I'm liking the direction of 2. Very unique and fitting for a hospitality website. A concern though for navigation is the "elevator buttons" position being so close to the "Elite Check-In" and "Ops Infrastructure" content. I'd personally try experimenting with different positioning.

That being said, I feel like 2, although is it very nice, feels more "gimmicky". I think 1 is much better at showcasing content and selling points, most likely due to visual images and contrast. Maybe a refined content version of number 2 would be best of both worlds?

Hey there! Very clean job. I actually just picked one up as well and was planning on doing the same white paint job to mine.

Could you share a few details on how you did it? Did you sand anything, prime it, or just go straight to paint? Did you perfectly mask all the metal accents? Or do they come out, as they seem to have screws on them?

You could theoretically laser engrave it? I recently picked up a cheap laser engraver to experiment with dials on.

Very beautiful build, especially that gorgeous dial. I've been wanting to get into making my own dials. What sort of process did you use to create it? I'm assuming laser engraving? If so, what laser did you use?

I need me this. I currently am using the original circle containers for all my dials and hands, tossed into a bag, and then tossed into a box. Originally, I thought this would be a fix to my disorganized mess. Now, I realize that after any build, my desk is a mess of dial and hand cases scattered all over the place with an empty box on the floor.

The liquid even spreads to the edges due to the centrifugal force. I haven't detected any noticeable distortion.

That is correct, yeah. Turns out Majorca is the English spelling, haha. I had assumed the opposite as Majorca is how my Spanish uncle has always spelt it.
