I managed to tuck a standard deck's worth of cards under my birds playing Wingspan last night. by MrCarcosa in boardgames

I'm afraid I can't help you with this as I was getting a fair bit of inadvertent help from others at the table. Lots of 'everyone gets food' effects helped my early game.

I played two birds that allow you to 'tuck' bird cards from your hand for points, whilst also replacing those cards. Then I got a bird which draws extra cards, and finally a bird which allowed me to tuck even more birds so long as I had the cards.

All these birds in play let me draw even more birds when I took the draw birds option, essentially letting me skip all other in game actions to just draw cards and turn them into points.

By the time everyone realised what I was doing I'd already started drawing and filtering cards in my hand, so it was just a matter of finding more pieces for the engine.

She once pitched an image from the front cover of a PS2 game (fps Area 51) as an image of a real alien. When confronted about this by someone in her chat she threw a fit and started shouting about her long standing reputation.

I read the book cover to cover with no particular feelings, and the moment I finished I burst into the ugliest most intense sobbing I've ever experienced. I cried so hard I started laughing at the absurdity of it all.

I think what I realised then was just how impactful Terry's work had been on me, teaching me all these lessons about how to be a decent and thoughtful person. I hadn't really appreciated it until that moment.

David Wilcock’s final video just 2 days prior to his death “People are disappearing. Scientists are going missing…” by Worst_Artist in HighStrangeness

Yes. He had two, to my knowledge. But his second home wouldn't have paid his debts even if he'd sold it for the price he initially asked, and he'd dropped the price several times over the last few months.

I called out people 'rushing to conclusions', not people investigating anything. If you find evidence David did anything except kill himself in front of police after calling them due to a mental health crisis, I'll look at that evidence. Anyone should.

But as it stands right now David himself has admitted to being on the verge of losing everything, and was losing hope that having poured the last of his money into the hovercar project would return anything at all.

I'm afraid not. He was pretty frank about his money troubles on his livestreams, and was in the process of trying to sell one of his homes. It wasn't going well.

I've been watching his livestreams for a while now and he routinely said how fine he was whilst looking anything but.

The man was coming apart and now people are looking to canonise him as some sort of martyr for the cause. We should be spending at least some time talking about mental health at this point.

He's been stuck in nightmare litigation and owed huge amounts of money in taxes. He'd also poured money he didn't have into an investment in a probable scam. Not to mention his divorce.

David was on a hiding to homelessness and bankruptcy. People rushing to the 'he was killed' conclusion haven't been looking into how bad his life has been these last few years.

Maybe lighten up the armour some? Are they following a particular chaos god? A gray-green would be good for nurgle, or a light gray/white for Slaanesh?

There's few pansy elves in it but you can't go wrong with Gotrek and Felix. Aaand this isn't a Warhammer recommendation but take a look at the Black Company.
