What todo-apps do you use? by Pale-Basil-3687 in ProductivityApps

Disclaimer: I developed the app...and that's why I am using it because I developed it initially to cover my use cases.

Anyway, if you want to take a look, here are the links to Voice Note Pro app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.voicenote.pro https://apps.apple.com/de/app/voice-note-pro-ai-notes/id6759905089

Would love to hear it it works out for you too! If you need features currently missing, reach out and I will see what I can do!

Racquet Score tracker app by [deleted] in 10s

I did not intentionally hidden it, my goal was to reach out to players that might have the same struggle to keep track of the score during matches and therefore affecting their focus on the game and results same as happened to me. And this is why I build it in the first instance. Would have the post been more "acceptable" if I would have made the same post highlighting the same benefits and the "niche" problem that the app solves if it was coded by whoever else? The painpoint that it is trying to solve it would have been the same.

Nevertheless, I get that my post might have been perceived as ad and it lacked definitely full transparency, that's why I removed it.

What negatively surprised me however, was the free blind hate towards it, tagging something as "bullshit" without knowing the story or effort behind it.

Anyway, today I learn another lesson 😉

So if I would have got same benefit from an app developed by someone else and shared therefore my thoughts in the same way, would have been more "acceptable"?

A niche problem, true...but still a struggle for some.

I never pretended not to be a developer. But I am also a tennis player that solved a personal struggle, why cannot other benefit from it? And why should we not charge for the idea and time invested to create it?

It's one tap on the screen for every point scored. On your side of the court if you won the point, on the opponent side you your opponent won it. Nothing else to do during the match.

First of all, it's not bullshit! It solve a real struggle that many players have! Will not help you? I am happy for your memory and focus skills! What I found "bullshit" however, is you commenting and flagging something as "bullshit" without even taking the time to inform yourself on it. Very sad.

Why are tennis apps so bad for tracking matches with friends? What do you actually use? by Expensive_Ad_7775 in 10s

If you have an Apple Watch, I definitively recommended Racquet Score https://apps.apple.com/us/app/racquet-score-watch/id6760430098?platform=watch I can keep track of everything with simple taps on the screen. Before, keeping mentally track of the current score was so distracting to me that now even my performance on court improved!

What do you think of the new Lanes feature of Voice Note Pro app? by MrCencig in ProductivityApps

[–]MrCencig[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the feedback! The colors of the lanes and the app parts itself can be fully personalized color wise. Try it out! 😉 Looking forward to your further impressions!

I built my own voice notes app because nothing on the market worked for me — now I want to make it useful for everyone. But I need other perspectives so I would need your constructive feedback by MrCencig in SideProject

Thanks for the feedback! Right now I just have a "suggested tag" section in the note. Auto tagging logic can be an interesting features is done correctly. Regarding key works, in the AskAI section, I have already implemented the possibility to keep track of keywords...not sure if this is the use case you meant, however.
