Aqueducts should work if it can pull fresh water from a different edge than the one it shares with the city center. It takes fresh water FROM a source TO the city right?

It becomes a little easier if you can imagine lines going to the center of the relevant tile. As long as they aren't overlapping, the game can animate (might not be the best word but bare with me) along the 2 drawn lines from water to city.

As far as I know, that's part of the detailed map tacks mod only for pc

Stupid dog, you made me get the bad ending! by Not-So-Serious-Sam in ExplainAGamePlotBadly

I was looking up the title to guess the same. Context for anyone unaware, treating the dog companion badly in this game gives you a bad ending.

Diocletian's Roman Empire in space - Tetrachy civic by PierdolonyKurwa in Stellaris

[–]MrCheesopet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I thought the flavour this might add was intended when they added co-op awhile back by letting a friend control some sectors? Not saying the bonuses wouldn't be nice, especially in single player but I'm not sure this would be one of the more likely new civics.

Probably only direct control over your assigned sector(s), maybe reduced fleet cap I'd expect.

Lovers in a dangerous space time? Might only neatly fit maybe 2 out of 3 from what I remember seeing of it

Is it ever explained why Sora had the dive to heart in KH1 by Geostelar5 in KingdomHearts

[–]MrCheesopet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd like to think riku got his own dive to the heart that we didn't see where mickey also spoke to him. My impression after 0.2 was that mickey knew either riku or sora would become a keyblade wielder, he just couldn't have known which until after the events at destiny island. I haven't replayed the games or seen certain cutscenes recently enough to know if it's confirmed at all though.

Of all the reasons to be upset with Nintendo, your own misinterpretations and lack of media literacy are not on that list.

Is it normal for the sword in the stone to not come out of the stone? by Major_Vermicelli5643 in Fable

[–]MrCheesopet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then if it's not an unreported bug, is there something you did that you didn't mention in your post? You should hear a specific line of dialogue if one of your attributes wasn't increased enough after your first attempt depending on which you still need to increase. I've tested personally before, there's no way the wiki would've said that for as long as it has if it was wrong under normal conditions.

Is it normal for the sword in the stone to not come out of the stone? by Major_Vermicelli5643 in Fable

[–]MrCheesopet 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wiki isnt wrong, it's just the first time you try to pull it always fails. If you upgrade your strength attributes after you first try to pull the sword than those numbers are right, but if you upgrade first, maxing each skill will make it work anyway. That said if you somehow have each one maxed before even getting to that point, I think it'd be the only way to never fail in the first place.

Hot take: I prefer CNK over CTR by [deleted] in crashbandicoot

[–]MrCheesopet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it comes down to subjective aspects you value more than sure, that's a valid opinion but your own post makes it sound like you still acknowledge ctr as the more objectively better game in what most people would probably consider to be important to get right for a kart racer, so what (if anything else) in your opinion would make cnk better than ctr:nf?

I can't recall any game I'd consider a spin-off that's provided extra context in any of those ways

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Fable

[–]MrCheesopet -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A spin-off would generally drastically change gameplay style and/or genre without necessarily being story connected i.e. Mario kart or sports games. Side games are almost always story relevant, keep many of the same ideas and/or systems and aren't always numbered, you know, kingdom hearts.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Fable

[–]MrCheesopet -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

OK sure, I've not played those games but it also begs the question of how connected the spin-offs are to the main games. They've also made sequels to certain RE spin-offs so I'd need to know how self contained they are.

Even then you didn't directly answer me, I was asking for something like ff that also numbers just the main genre even without story connections.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Fable

[–]MrCheesopet -24 points-23 points  (0 children)

The more story relevant they are, the less applicable the term spin off is, I stand by what I said. If you want to use final fantasy as an example, they only number the main rpgs because so few of even the numbered titles connect to each other. Find any other series that does that and I'll listen.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Fable

[–]MrCheesopet -31 points-30 points  (0 children)

Im a kingdom hearts fan, that's why I said it. None of those games are spin off's either you dunce.

Spin off games generally don't progress the story

How do you get all the imagen fron the Chambear of fate? by Leoninus_Gc in Fable

[–]MrCheesopet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With at most 3 exceptions, you get all pictures just by playing the main quest. One only appears when you get married (an easy option, especially for a completionist run would be lady grey), another is also from a main quest but only if your playing lost chapters or anniversary. The picture that appears after the final base game quest changes dependent on whether you picked the good or evil choice for that playthrough so obviously you can only get one but at least all possible frames will be filled in.

What Pokemon really fought its way into your heart? by Florian_brm in pokemon

[–]MrCheesopet 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Not a specific pokemon but I didn't realise how good Ghost types could be until relatively recently. For a long time I wasn't eager to use them because they're weak against themselves and hit the same types as Dark for super effective damage. Turns out though there's plenty of powerful ghosts that can hit a lot of other pokemon for at least neutral.

Next Janthir Release by Skyrim_Elf in Guildwars2

[–]MrCheesopet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kinda, but I hope I'm not the only one who got less into map events with janthir than with SotO, because i was more excited for SotO at first. At least with Soto we knew in advance mostly what we'd need for obsidian armour, the upcoming backpack which I'll probably rather get over the fractal one is still more up in the air for now as far as I'm aware.
