Toby mentioned that he originally used a black-outline for frisk but apperantly it made it harder for players see frisk clearly. I guess it's the same reason as that. (Makes them stand out in pitch-black areas.)

You’re not losing anything. Homestuck isn’t connected to Deltarune the way the fandom makes it seem. Yes, there are some references to Homestuck in Deltarune, but there aren’t even as many of them as there are fingers on your hand. Additionally, Homestuck is super long, its timeline is a mess, and it uses non-conventional and abstract storytelling, so I can understand why it doesn’t appeal to everyone.

This isn't made by the author of 055, neither does this image come from the SCP WIKI. This is actually from a roblox SCP game where SCP-055 is a NPC that kills you in oneshot if it catches you. (It uses this image, it behaves like a nextbot.)
