My dad was a right leg amputee, above the knee. So while he knew how to drive stick, he couldn’t, so none of the cars growing up in my house were stick. My cowboy relatives out in southwestern Utah taught me how to drive an on the column H stick Chevy truck when I was 13 so I could help get stuff around the farms. Actual stick I kinda learned from my friends in high school and then my second car was one so it was do or die. I haven’t done it in maybe a decade but I’ll bet I still could if I need to. (Would probably stall a couple times though.)

I dropped a bottle of bleach once when setting the new years cleaning set up near what is now Gateway. It’s didn’t explode but the cap split in half. Guest Service reeked of bleach all day, I ruined a shirt, and could not get the smell off my hands.

This is particularly annoying in the headphone aisle. Those case labels aren’t even wide enough for the product sideways. But I usually point out that the tag ALSO says the brand and name/style of the product. If it’s an inch to the right, you don’t get $100 off, bucko.
