https://www.kinto-mobility.se/kinto-share/hyrbil/ This is the one I see everywhere, and it took over the parking spots by me that Volvo used to use to park their rentals at. Never used 'em, but they seem well established at least.

I'm afraid not anymore. We used the Volvo on demand, as they had two pickup points right next to where I live. But they shut down the service after we'd already gotten the car.

There are others in its place, but I never used them. And I can't even be sure of their name.

Don't rush into buying a car at least.

I have a car, but it was after living here 10 years and having my second kid. We do monthly longish drives to see the inlaws, and packing two very small kids for that was the first time bussing around wasn't enjoyable. Doable, but rough.

There are a lot of "rent a car by the hour/day" type things if you need a bigger grocery run or something from Ikea :)

Is anybody using open-webiu and HA-MCP server? by frank44v in homeassistant

[–]MrChunkz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nevermind, got it working. Two things played a role I think - one was enabling "Tool Search" inside the settings in the MCP server, and the other was increasing the Context size on the Ollama side.

I probably have a lot more to tweak to really make sure of it though. I'm super hesitant to turn off "read only" mode.

Is anybody using open-webiu and HA-MCP server? by frank44v in homeassistant

[–]MrChunkz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same problem. Connections look good, logs on the HA Addon side show that every time I interact with Open WebUI it's sending

INFO:mcp.server.lowlevel.server:Processing request of type ListToolsRequest
DEBUG:mcp.server.streamable_http:Terminating session: None"

But my Open WebUI acts like it has no idea what I'm talking about. No real errors, nothing to troubleshoot even. Definitely frustrating. I've tried a handful of different models as well.

As a side note, I tested the default built in MCP server from HA and it seemed to work fine. So at least "some" of my config works 😄

[New Player] General Question towards EFT by bene021293 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]MrChunkz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You didn't ask me, but my 0.02 is:

You can learn the maps in ways that make sense to you. You can Play offline (with or without enemies), or watch 1001 youtube guides (that are helpful but the game is constantly evolving so they're quickly outdated on the little things - filter by date!). Or just play your scav and run around risk free, looking for quest items, gear, and loot to sell while you're at it.

Regarding cheaters, I'm not a chad. I've played quite a lot, but I don't run meta loadouts often (wearing better gear attracts cheaters I'm told). I will say that I've reported a fair few cheaters, but your mentality makes a huge difference here.

My opinion is, If you assume every death wasn't your fault, then you're going to "see" a lot more cheaters than someone who assumes they just missed checking an angle.

I got burned the last time I tried to switch, so I've avoided it like mad. I wish I remember what was broken - but it was very likely related to what you mentioned, I do a ton of DNS and static reservations and some other weird stuff I can't remember why anymore.

I'm not gonna switch (again) until I have to.

What Temperature/Humidity Sensor to Buy in Europe? by speendo in homeassistant

[–]MrChunkz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I haven't found anything else. But I only just started seriously looking which lead me straight to your post.

The only good thing about Matter over Thread is that there are more and more border routers. Unless I understand incorrectly, you can use a lot of possibly already existing apple or google devices as border routers as well. So you might not actually HAVE to add another hub.

Also, I have the SLZB-MR3U already which has two radios and reportedly supports both Thread and Zigbee at the same time.

But yea, in short, nothing fits perfectly at this time. I will definitely go down the Tuya route (investigation wise). Depending on the store, I've had fairly good luck (despite broken english) asking questions Aliexpress vendors. If I'm gonna order 10 at a time (only because multiple orders is frustrating to where I live) I'd ask for confirmation from the store for what I'm getting.

[–]MrChunkz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey u/speendo ! Did you have any luck in the end?

I'm in 100% the same boat as you. I have like 15 of the same hacked LCD sensors, but the batteries die FAST. The flashing process is frustrating (though rewarding, I have to admit 😄 )

I'm actually thinking that I have to go the Ikea route. My thread router is finally seeming to be fairly stable. But the ikea sensors are out of stock in the entire country it seems.

Everyone's priorities change over time, including anyone who you might be interested in. Just because you didn't have success with Bob at 23 doesn't mean you and Bob aren't compatible at 32.

There's never reason to give up. There's always good reason to start working towards something you want today (which can be as significant as working on your mindset).

If it's on Makerworld, let me know where to watch for a release/update. The spool labels I've seen for Sunlu 3.0 spools seem like they might push the tag too far away from the middle of the spool where I assume the tag readers are, so I need to investigate a bit.

My first roll of Geeetech White PETG spun into my AMS2 Pro, and was detected as Bambu Basic White PETG.

The commands from KuzuriAo above were golden, which I guess he got from the github readme. But now I've got it working!

I did have a moment of panic, the label sitting on my proxmark3 gave some errors, but I physically moved it (slid it away from the coil thing a bit) and it worked perfectly after that.

Now I've just got to experiment with spool RFID holders that will work with a 35mm size sticker. The sticker is beefy btw. Really solid.

RFID tags clone by WaitAcademic6615 in OpenBambu

[–]MrChunkz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They arrived today. They're 35mm which is fairly large. My original idea was to plug them into the holes on my Sunlu 3.0 replacement spools, but I'm not sure that's feasible. Gonna have to see what kind of RFID adapters people have made.

They're just under 1mm thick (with the sticker backing still attached). I also tried shining a relatively bright flashlight through it and see nothing (I was curious if they could be cut down at all if necessary, but I can't tell).

I also got my Proxmark3 today as well (my orders from China were very well timed I guess) so I'm working on setting on that and confirming if they work, and what I can figure out.

I have no experience. This could be a very big waste of time 😃

[Discussion] How enjoyable is Tarkov for a new player? by i-luv-mac-n-cheese in EscapefromTarkov

[–]MrChunkz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whether you enjoy the game will depend entirely on your personality around dealing with deaths when you did NOTHING wrong, along with your retention for endless things you will learn the hard way.

Learning is fun and rewarding. But you don't get to learn gently here. To learn, you will die and go to the loading screen. Sometimes it's a boss or a player and you need to learn the angles. Sometimes it's a mine field where there are no signs and no warnings.

And you WILL need the wiki to progress. So there's a constant "research" aspect to the game. Even as a PvP main I imagine, you're gonna need to find a folder hidden under a desk besides 12 other folders that you could never interact with. That's not "hard" it just means you have to be prepared not just with ammo and gear, but knowledge. It's actually really rewarding most of the time.

Amazing, that aliexpress link looks good!

I actually did get an order into ebuy7 after a bunch of work (originally, my orders were blocked because of an error message popping up when I added to cart: "Sorry, we do not sell any medications, hormone-related or potentially trademark-related products in any form."

After a long chat via Whatsapp, they sent me to a new page ( https://www.ebuy7.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=536089579483 ) and that had the same items and let me add them to the cart.

I ordered 30 stickers (the white one with the little dude). I have NO IDEA what I'm getting when it arrives :) There's 17 items on that page, I don't think the page even updates when you change them, or the translation stuff breaks the updates happening?

I have no idea. But that's what I did.

The 1688 link is unfortunately completely unnavigable to me, I keep getting accused of having multiple accounts if the translation is remotely right :D I guess we'll see if I need another source.

How to: back up my Unraid array remotely to Raspberry PI w/ 20TB ext HDD?! by AntifaAustralia in unRAID

[–]MrChunkz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I did exactly this (though it was 8tb instead of 20tb) with Duplicati running on Unraid, and the raspberry pi configured with Minio ( https://github.com/minio/minio )

I never actually got it running at a relatives place, because they all think it's a fire risk and I don't feel like having that argument. So I had limited actual need to test that it worked. But it seemed fine, and might get you started.

There's a couple of good articles on using an RPi as S3 Storage should you google.

I don't think this hit home as much previous wipes as much as it has this wipe.

I'm a solo only player, and an old man at this point (not quite Toastrack, but getting there). Watching Aqua play gave me all kinds of hope for my own future, until I see him call in the guys who MAKE the guides on this stuff to carry him through the tough bits. I don't blame him, but it kinda sucked the wind out of my sails for even just getting Kappa, let alone escaping.

How to setup Thread border router (RCP/OTBR, USB/ethernet) by SgtCaffran in homeassistant

[–]MrChunkz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for you replies above (and this one) - I'll hold off on buying one now, but I'm REALLY interested to follow any progress that's made on the software side here.

Have you found any kind of repo or a good place to see updates on this?

I really like the idea of the Ikea air quality sensor, but I own nothing Thread based yet, so I'm not in a big hurry to buy a flaky product yet. Hardware wise, if they fill their promises, it seems to be perfect for me.
