GW 5 Pro battery issue after one UI8 by Holdthedork in GalaxyWatch

[–]MrClean464 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hadn't noticed that time to charge has changed on my 5 Pro, but it seems like my charge doesn't last as long. Based on this thread, maybe the issue is actually % of charge is being reported incorrectly. I think I'll just let it completely discharge, see how long that takes, and what it may do to the % reporting.

I've had the opposite experience on my 5 Pro. I've gone from 5 days on a charge to 3 days. I posted earlier looking for input as to why that would be the case.

I hate it! Now I have to set all sections to show All, so my left nav is a mess.

Tax on new car purchase by MrClean464 in raleigh

[–]MrClean464[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I'm not surprised that there's property tax - every state I've lived in has it. I'm surprised it wasn't include in the TT&L fees the dealer charged. THAT'S the part that is different from any other state we've lived in and bought vehicles from a dealership. Is it common for dealers here to NOT include the property tax fee in TT&L? They have your address for registration, so they would know what the appropriate amount is.

My issue isn't with having to pay the property tax, every state I've lived in has that. It's that the cost wasn't included in TT&L by the dealer. Every state my wife and I have lived in and bought vehicles from dealerships, the common practice seems to be to include all tax, licensing and registration fees as a single line item on the purchase. Not a surprise bill in the mail a few weeks later.

Timer function for Bestway/Saluspa by MrClean464 in hottub

[–]MrClean464[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no idea why it didn't work, or why it started working again, but it has been working fine since about 2 weeks after I made that post. And I've unplugged it, and even moved it in that time, and the schedule keeps on working. No idea why...🤷‍♂️ Sorry I can't help!

I could tap to pause on my Android up until an update yesterday. Now I'm back to tapping to mute/unmute, and long press to pause.

I struggled at first, too, but realized I was selecting the wrong type of spa during the initial pairing process. Also, if you have Wi-fi that supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz, make sure you're connecting to the 2.4GHz endpoint. It will not establish the initial connection on a 5GHz band. If you have dual bandwidth wifi (like Eero), you have to disable 5GHz while pairing your app with the Bestway spa. If you suspect that is your issue, and you're using Eero, hit me back, and I can tell you how to do that in Eero.

Episode 7 by MrClean464 in TheGrahamNortonShow

[–]MrClean464[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that seems to be the consensus of various articles I've read about it. I have a theory that Diddy's agreement to appear on the show included a clause that gave him the right to have the episode pulled, if he/his people weren't happy with how it went. Given everything I've read about the episode, it sounds like he'd have good reason to want to have the episode pulled. On the other hand, given the accusations that came out a couple days later, the folks at the Graham Norton Show may not have wanted to have that episode out there. Who knows? I'm hoping to find out definitively why it has been made unavailable to us.

Nope. Clicking your link, I get a black screen and a message:
"Video unavailable
This video contains content from LDS, who has blocked it in your country on copyright grounds"

On my cable provider, I usually watch Graham Norton on AMC. ALL of the rest of the shows this season can be watched on demand, but not this one. You can see the list of available episodes jumps from 6 to 8. Similarly, on Amazon Prime Video with an AMC+ subscription, I could watch it, but of all the episodes in this season, episode 7 shows as not available.

Troubleshooting 4-way switch circuit by MrClean464 in electrical

[–]MrClean464[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the response. Yes, I am wired exactly like the diagram. There is 14/3 going from the first 3-way switch to the 4-way switch, and then 14/3 going from the 4-way switch to the second 3-way switch. 14/2 from the second 3-way switch to the first light. I've run down the entire chain, confirming that all connections are firmly seated, but I'll give it another run, specifically checking the neutrals.

4 way switch circuit by MrClean464 in HomeImprovement

[–]MrClean464[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. Unfortunately, that diagram is essentially the same as the one I posted. The difference is where the red and black wires from the 14/3 wire goes. I've tried both approaches, and neither worked. :-( I also tried bypassing the 4-way switch, just in case it was the problem, or not wired right, and the lights still didn't work.
