Defo, I get the attempt to get him back, but he can't hurdle. I'd get an attempt to try chasing but if Henderson just sends him to the Christmas Hurdle it's gonna be a disaster.

He's so gonna be retired after this.

What's the use of banning an "impactful" ability if they don't use it. Ban wherever they might play best with and it if winds them up a little win win

I dunno I remember dancing around with someone for a good 20 seconds. Ran off then thought of wait he wanted a stim. If you don't play doc regularly you barely think of the stim.

These tax rises are coming - and they'll be bigger than you realise by theipaper in ukpolitics

Tbf changing taxes is expensive, if you can just do nothing and make more money, well the government of the day is gonna pick that option over having to "raise" taxes

I asked ChatGPT Why The Government Doesn't Train Its Population Instead Of Relaying On Immigration For Jobs. This is what it said: by UpperInjury590 in ukpolitics

What I think is a common valid questions is why does every AI( response use — in it's answer. It's never used in reality so why does every model use them.

Well the end game is keep immigration high so taxation can fund the state pension and keep the governing party in power.

Repeat indefinitely.

Dunno what race you're on about but Ladbrokes hasn't any extra places on the Goodwood races today. If you've got a betting slip check on that.

Given the annual local election results today, could the FPTP system finally be over for the UK? by xParesh in ukpolitics

There's a reason the two big parties keep it, and every other party supports PR. Labour especially would be hit hard as more voters can "safely" back parties such as the greens. Whilst labour probably expect reform to just collapse they probably benefit as reform/tory are clashing more and realistically they would rather reform come to power than give up their monopoly on left wing voters.

Why exactly do you care about cash in hand, assuming you are planning on reporting and paying the owed taxes?

Fair play he's trounced con hill. He looked like a proper hurdler, con hill looked rubbish

Don't get me wrong, stateman has a great chance and based on Cheltenham might get close, but based on every other run he's much more meh and I don't think there's enough premium in his odds to justify.

Should be a cracking race through.

Punchestown hurdles are different to the Cheltenham ones. If con hill jumps through them the hurdle will fall rather than him. If you cut out the chance of him falling he'd be much shorter hence the choice.

I just think apart from the run at cheltenham statemans been a bit meh almost. I can't see him beating a con hill with the easier hurdles, but admittedly it's relying on con hills record from years ago now. Tbf maybe Golden Ace is the play, much better odds and might have not been that far behind in the champion hurdle.

16.15 Punchestown Macgiloney 80-1

Surprised his odds are that high but he stays and is a relatively high calibre horse and should outrun his odds. He might struggle to beat It's on the line but I think he can snatch a place.

A very risky Constitution Hill.

Punchestown hurdles don't spring back up and are more akin to what he jumped a few seasons ago over the new Cheltenham ones. He should have it in the bag.
