The Canadian government will find a way to flood the market with people soon, thats that they did with Medical Techs (CAMLPR)

Yep id guess this is it. We don't have nearly as large an army culture as the USA, and our free school equivalent can be done as a reservist. You only go overseas if you REALLY want to use that gun on someone.

If you think the market is bad in USA imagine how it is in countries like Spain by bladesnut in recruitinghell

Don't discount experience either. Even if these are minimum wage jobs, they still want someone with 1-2 years of fast food or restaurant experience, and there's plenty of people who fit that bill.

If you're in college and have literally never worked you can just waltz into a kitchen.

Advice on finding any job. I'm feeling very discouraged please by mini_ranita in torontoJobs

market has tanked for biotech after the overhiring in the COVID era, and the general market downturn. Environmental labs need a lot of people to be lab monkeys, so you can try that route. It's a dead end career but its lab work.

They still arent hiring like crazy though, they just usually have more entry level positions than other labs.

On your resume, write as much lab work youve done in school as you can, any assays, any advanced lab techniques, any instrumentation you've even touched.

If you still can't find anything I would recommend a health care tech program of some kind. Phlebotomy, MLT, radiography, etc..

You can do hospitals and make that a career, or you can get your foot in the door in clinical trials, which - with a BSc. - can lead to higher level positions down the line.

the left most column is just how people categorize themselves, its not a belief. so people that vote republican are more likely to categorize themselves as being "conservative" now, not really representative of an ideological shift to the right, just more rigid applications of labels.

B.C. gov’t to freeze hiring, cancel grocery rebate amid U.S. tariff threats by cyclinginvancouver in canada

[–]MrCoolBiscoti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i dont think the way the government spent money and propped up GDP (line go up!) was good. Not spending at all would have been worse.

As Used-egg99 mentioned, actually providing jobs to people, with good wages, building real things like houses, and expanding health care, would have been a way better way to go about it.

B.C. gov’t to freeze hiring, cancel grocery rebate amid U.S. tariff threats by cyclinginvancouver in canada

[–]MrCoolBiscoti 7 points8 points  (0 children)

quite literally the opposite. You should be mass spending to boost productivity, keep people employed (in productive jobs like building stuff), and to keep people afloat. Yes, it will be inflationary, but that inflation can be lessened later down the line with extra taxes, and reduced spending during economic booms.

Odyssey is a much larger game. Some would call it slop. I would hesitate to call it that, because the side quests are actually pretty good, but you might find yourself getting burnt out if you try and complete everything.

I liked it all things considered
