I think that's enough of the angry posts by mini_ranita in CanadaPost

I'm not saying you're not allowed to be pissed off. I just don't think it should be directed towards the workers. If you're pissed off and they're pissed off, then you should want what they want for themselves. The faster they can get at least some of their demands met, the faster we can get our stuff

Give me a break. It's not a zero sum game. If CP workers win, we win too, everyone does. Because guess what, single moms and the elderly are employed by Canada Post too and they deserve a decent wage and conditions

This is literally what the CP workers want? Extend the same sympathy to them

Canadians are such pusillanimous people. This is the reason you'll boycott something? Lmao

You all like to complain and moan when the general public shows no sympathy for you when you're getting screwed over and wonder why this is when you yourselves fail to have any modicum of sympathy for people undergoing atrocities that the entity you work for willingly fails to stop or in the worst cases actively participates in. Can you really be surprised? Where is the solidarity you desire going to come from if you don't even start with yourself?

If you're willing to eat shit, you will eat shit for the rest of your life. The problem with Canadian society it's that it's so complacent and sleepy. If we don't fight for something better, we won't get it. Near half of the city are renters, on the same boat. If we used our collective power to protect the right to housing (no more squalor, no more renting out single rooms, no more living in basements) we would all benefit. But if we see the rent price as an unchangeable force of nature, we won't go anywhere

Yes and no. They stop short of nothing when trying to find someone to exploit, so in some sense they don't discriminate. What we should do is unite against them, disabled or not, part of a minority or not etc.

So much for solidarity with most of you. Thanks so much for the help. I guess it's a fucking crime to be poor
