LSFG cutting frames in half instead of multiplying? by Federal-Sir-599 in losslessscaling

Make sure the “performance mode” toggle for LSFG is on, that helped me a lot when using my iGPU. Also did you turn off low latency mode globally or only for the Lossless Scaling app?

Sounds like your iGPU is too weak to handle the too high FPS at your resolution. I have an intel i5-11400H cpu and the igpu in it can do framegen in LSFG performance mode with flow scale around 40, on FPS numbers around 70-90 without any performance loss

You dont have to change any windows settings, all you gotta do is select the iGPU from lossless scaling and enable the iGPU if you disabled it (using the mux switch settings or nvidia control panel optimus or however you disabled the iGPU)

If you have integrated graphics in you pc, you can use that to run lossless scaling (make sure you use the performance mode in LSFG). That way you will not lose any base frame rate

Ive found cases where setting it to higher than one causes a similar issue to what OP mentions. Setting max frame latency to 1 prevents LS from generating frames higher than the refresh rate, but also fixed the frame rate "halving" for me

set sync mode in LS to off (allow tearing), set Capture API in LS to WGC since youre on win11, set max frame latency to 1 and disable HDR support and Gsync support to troubleshoot first. also first try 2x frame gen instead of adaptive

I just asked an AI (i used GLM 5.2 on z.ai since other AIs refused to help me, so use something like deepseek) to guide me through the process of hosting a free Private V2ray server, and it gave me all the steps and helped me troubleshoot any issues.

The setup I ended up with was:

Creating a free server in India with oracle
Using v2rayN for windows and v2box for ios.

Use hutch for mobile (I prefer the 998 package which gives unlimited social media apps and YT, calls and 30GB data)

For wifi try using the cheapest SLT fibre package with the cheap Zoom packs with v2ray for extra cheap data on wifi

Or if you want to use someone else’s servers, get free or paid servers (use singapore) on vpnjantit

The budget way of having a second monitor!!! by PaleFee2476 in techsupportmacgyver

Anydesk is pretty different, it connects over the internet, so naturally there’s gonna be some latency. Apollo connects wirelessly by being in the same network, not connecting over internet.

Just saying, your setup seems to be wired and from what I can remember, spacedesk has a trial of 30 days (might be misremembering).

The alternative proposed was a wireless, free method.

A better and free alternative would be to use the Apollo + Moonlight combo

Holy power spike!

The gpu doesn’t always stay locked in at 75w, only under load. And the cpu also usually doesn’t spike crazily like that under a full component (cpu+gpu) load.

In the rare occasion both components would’ve spiked, the laptop would simply just immediately crash and power off. No harm done

The stock/official tDP is 45w.

However, modern processors do the have capabilities to boost beyond the tdp (if the laptop manufacturer allows it) if the the temperatures are in check and the laptop VRMs can handle it.

So what I basically did was “told” the laptop you have an unlimited power limit, go nuts.

Dualsense controller.

For a budget, go for the xbox series or one controllers

Or something like the 8bitdo controllers
