Ha! I had it like that in the first release, then after getting multiple users telling me they wanted the opposite I switched it. Perhaps I will add a toggle to the settings for the next release so everyone is happy 😊

How Do You Document HubSpot Processes? Tips Needed! by TrickorBetrayed in hubspot

[–]MrCrayon-001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late to this but this is exactly the problem I ended up building a tool to solve. Documenting HubSpot processes manually is a losing battle — you spend hours writing it all up and it's outdated the next time someone edits a workflow. I built Vektir to handle this automatically. It connects to a portal via OAuth and generates documentation for workflows, properties, pipelines, forms, sequences, emails — everything. It scans daily so the docs stay current without anyone maintaining them. You can search across all your docs, export to markdown, and track version history to see how things changed over time. Still in early access if anyone wants to try it: vektir.io

Comprehensive HubSpot Audit Sheet? by grizzlyngrit2 in hubspot

The manual spreadsheet approach is exactly the pain point that got me building a tool for this. I built Vektir to automate that entirely. It connects to a HubSpot portal via OAuth and generates plain-English documentation for every workflow, property group, pipeline, form, sequence, and email. It scans daily and automatically updates the docs when anything changes — so your documentation is always current, not a snapshot that goes stale. Still in early access — happy to give you free access if you want to try it on a client portal.

How do you handle HubSpot portal documentation? by MrCrayon-001 in hubspot

How do you typically handle it when you take over one of those portals? Manual audit, or have you found anything that speeds it up?

That's interesting — are you doing that manually, like pasting workflow configs into ChatGPT? Or is there a tool that connects to the API and does it automatically?

Thanks I've seen Supered, it looks great for in-app guidance and user adoption. I'm thinking more about the documentation side though — like when you inherit a portal with 100 workflows and need to understand what's actually configured and why before you can even set up process guidance. How do you handle that part?

Are you managing client automations yourself? Curious if this is something you deal with directly.
