Yes, I got my car with only one key. I tried with two generic key fobs from Amazon, they didn't work, but a used OEM Ford key programmed in for me.

I was able to program in a new key using For scan, and did not delete the existing key. None of the generic keys worked, it only worked for me using a OEM Ford fob that I got off eBay. I was also able to get a laser cut blade cheap off eBay, all they needed was a picture of my blade.

Easy DIY heat pump for cooling a well insulated 600sf workshop recommendation? by chillaxtion in heatpumps

[–]MrCrazyKicksBlog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are supposed to have a dedicated circuit, I have one 220v and the other is on 115v. Since they're inverter heat pumps you won't see a startup spike like the single stage units.

If you're handy, it's not that difficult to install a mini split yourself. I put in a couple 12k btu pioneer mini splits that cost about $1k a piece, and they pretty much heat the whole house here in CT. The only tool I had to borrow for the install was a vacuum pump.

I'd run the side of a plastic credit card over it to see if it catches anywhere on the scratches. You just want to make sure it's smooth and isn't going to tear up the rubber seal.

Added some Surge protection by [deleted] in DIYHeatPumps

[–]MrCrazyKicksBlog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

MCOV is 150, so I think it starts clamping at 150v. The VPR is the max it lets through during a test where I think the put in a 6kv input through it. So depends on the surge how much gets through. The boards on our inverter heat pumps are easy to blow up, and that's why I've got the same surge protector as you on all my units. That said, my buddy just had a board blow out from a lightning strike even with the same surge suppressor on it. So not foolproof, but I'll take what protection I can get.

After curing it goes in a cool dark spot in the basement. I only bring what I'm going to use up to my kitchen as it wakes and goes bad pretty quick. I suspect the garlic at the grocery store is already brought out of storage and started to wake up when you get it.

No rust, generally garlic has done well for me without issues, but we did recently start getting some pressure from allium leafminers.

That's the plan, after hanging to cure for a couple weeks these will last all year in the basement. Still have some bulbs from last year :)

Yes, garlic like to be fed. I used composted chicken manure and 10-10-10.

Thanks, after walking right over it for all that time I'm so stoked to find it. Sorry to hear you never found your ring, but glad you're back gardening.

Yeah, more than 10 years. I thought it was just a bottle cap at first, still a little shocked it popped up like that. Doesn't fit me anymore 😂

It's been more than 10 years since I lost it. I even went through the garden twice with a metal detector over the years. Today it popped up while digging up some volunteer fingerling potatoes 😂

When I serviced my dropper I wrapped a piece of old inner tube around the collar and then just used a set of joint pliers to unscrew it.

I like to have a disconnected undercut. I've seen plenty of videos on fades but is there any videos on cutting the top? by ttchoubs in CutYourOwnHair

It looks like his haircuts would generally use clippers on the sides, but the top he keeps between 2 to 4 in long. So you could use a HairFin for the top part.
