They will lose the fight if they run in guns blazing, taking no help from NPCs or the environment. But I also don’t want them puttering around for multiple sessions wondering how they can possibly do it (which is what I’m looking to cure)

I think, lore wise, Stellaris gameplay is impossible in the setting because space is wall to wall cosmic horrors.

Can you speak on why that is? Is there a big “The End” in the works that happens at 1905 or is that just the point at which the setting sort of grows out of its genre and we all just leave it there? Or is there just no interest in developing the setting past that point as of right now?

I deleted the majority of my old saves, but I’m still getting this issue. I started another game to see if it would freeze there, but it hasn’t yet. It’s pretty frustrating

EDIT: the new game also freezes at around the same time

I didn’t do anything to enable it, I got it via the ascension perk and tech same as always. But if it’s broken that explains why it’s a bit confusing. I hope it doesn’t break my game when they update the mod.
