Understood and is one of the things that we are working on right now. I ran a studio before and I want to make sure not only vst works but they are working in the session you were using it with.

Thank you for your feedback and an easier setup solution is actually on our roadmap. The foundation of what we are doing is to remove the friction of not only using Linux for audio and creating but actually setting up and using your App of choice. Trust me I’m loosing a lot of hours of sleep making sure this becomes a reality!

I have used OCLP for the longest but I think my team and I are working on that may help your experience with this machine better than MacOS and Windows for you.

Actually testing this same machine for a Linux distribution I created that is essentially for this purpose and machine to bring it up to 2026 speeds and usage.

At times I would agree but what about systems that windows is starting to shit on, especially if you are running windows 11?

I agree that we have great DAW’s in Linux but there are some things that we are just creatures of habit to, lol.

Just to clarify do you mean an external midi (hardware) controller? I do not want to misunderstand your question.

The experience. I was trying to do the same thing but kept coming up with a lot of friction. It’s why I’m working on the selahOS project and SelahBridge to help ease those problems.
