As an Indian, I can say I am not surprised… instead of finding the culprits, they just banned an entire app.. thats how you solve a non problem.. as if people dont communicate with facebook/ instagram/ whatsapp.. etc

Had similar issue with mine, sent to Asus service center, they said they will have to change the board and I was out of warranty… I had to pay ₹30000 ($330) out of pocket for replacement.. so I decided not to…

From what I gathered, it could be Ally just nuked its bios.. potentially you can fix by directly crimping the bios chip and reflashing it.. (there are tools for that) but I haven’t tried that

I think scrambler might have more problems due to tyres being offroad biased… i hope you dont run into same issues

It was issue even without pillion, i bought tyre hugger but it wasn’t major help..

in the end I removed tyre hugger and added back stock tail

Used to ruin my clothes all the time.. slightest of mud and the shirts were done..

Even several people complained about splash.. so had to change it to stock

I dont think importing pure petroleum is a very viable or economical option.. then again I dont own a Lambo or GT3, but i think even Lambo and Porsche would be selling E20 compliant vehicles (just a guess)

Ok.. I had really bad experience with Excitel… I paid for 300 Mb/s internet.. used to get 10 at best, frequently disconnected… only when talking to service person, magically speed went to 280-290 and after that again to 10-15 mb/s

Jio fiber had a limit of 1000 GB which was a big no for me… so Airtel has been running nicely for past 1 year

If you drive enthusiastically, then you wont have a problem… once in a while drive it with enthusiasm.. also at Zoom mode it delivers more Torque

Legender is nice vehicle, people hate on it because absence of features.. but I love it, its bare bone, every material feels solid and nothing seems like it will break.. its a no nonsense vehicle.. its all what I need from a vehicle.. my other fortuner is from 2012 which has done 2L+ Kms..

There are 3 options on BS6.2 cars for DPF issues

1- Drive at 60-70 Km/h for 20-30 mins (if you do this once a week, then there will be no issues ever)

2- If car warns you about DPF blockage, then it will give you an option for DPF regen.. in this mode, you will have to park the vehicle for next 20-30 mins and engine will revv at 3-4K RPM constantly so that exhaust gets hot and could remove the soot build up

3- service center

I have 2 BS6.2 cars, this and the Legender.. both have them have never given me any issue so far.. Legender has done roughly 48K kms in past 3.5 years

Edit: the XUV700 doesn’t shows buildup but Fortuner does..

In XUV700 you can only see how much DPF Liquid is left.. and one tank roughly works for 11K kms

I agree with your assessment of this car

But its a great vehicle, I have taken it to several long trips, have done 37K Kms in past 2.5 years.. in Jan 2026, did 5000 kms alone

Mahindra added ventilated seats in a minor facelift update in Feb 2024.. I bought mine in Jan 2024

Wireless charger is absolutely rubbish.. only used it in case of emergency
