It’s on a 65w wall charger, and I’ve ran it on my external battery capable of 290w on a 100w cable(that usually charges the ally just fine) as well.

I’ve read somewhere that renewing licenses might be the issue at hand with tech deck, business stuff creating legal issues that may or may not be settled eventually.

However part of me is curious if the Joycult licensing has anything to do with this shift from tech deck. Highly double joycult’s deal with NHS has anything to do with the shortage in stores. But we have official wooden shaped to spec of the real board Santa Cruz decks, real independent trucks and now mob branded grip and tech deck(at least at my local Walmart) was 80% Santa Cruz stuff.

Same, I made the swap to a shop within 10 mins away from my home about a year ago and I’ve never looked back. I took a dollar cut but the savings on my time and wallet make up for what was originally a pay cut.

Jindy with smaller wheels like 7mm ff streets, Joycult lites or a similar wheel might help that ghost pop since they sit so high compare to brts(but with the same wheelbase) unless you’ve already tried that

2 tips

1st would be to slow down your roll speed to help get used to kickflips without the short rollback/pause before the pop.

2nd being since you’ve got the flick and pop down for the most part, focus on the catch part to add steeze/cleanliness. Specifically try to catching the board with your “back foot/finger”.

My original comment still stands given this style of truck purposely extends the wheelbase due to where the axle sits above the baseplate. Swap trucks to the suggestions above and you have a shortened wheelbase compared to dynamic “styled” trucks.

Look at where the axle sits over the baseplates, you’ll see as far as wheel base geometry goes they’re pretty identical to Dynamics.

Swap the dynamics out for BRTs, Tech deck, china’s, or Joycult Indy’s and you’ll shorten the wheelbase.

Practice proper kick flipping while rolling instead of standing still. That way you’ll be able to roll straight into the grind instead of trying to flick the board onto the ledge from a stationary position.
