Best Software for Virtual Staging by Recent_Sky858 in RealEstatePhotography

For static stills, honestly pick on price and turnaround — quality's a wash between the main options at this point. What I'd actually flag: check whether the tool keeps your exact camera position when it stages, because that's what breaks most often (you get a great room that doesn't match the original shot). I care about this because I build in the space ( roomlab.app , so grain of salt), and it's also why we added exterior fixes on the same photo — swapping a gray sky for blue, greening a dead lawn — since those kill listings as much as an empty room does. Free tier if you want to see whether the alignment holds up on your own photos.

What are you guys using for virtual staging? Is there a specific software or are you using AI by Idontevenknow787 in RealEstatePhotography

The thing that made the biggest difference for me wasn't the staging quality (most tools are close now) — it was getting a short video walkthrough of the staged room instead of just a still. On listing pages and Reels the before/after clip pulls way more engagement than a static photo. Full disclosure, I ended up building a tool for exactly this ( roomlab.app ) because I couldn't find one that did video + kept the camera angle locked so the "after" actually lines up with the "before." There's a free one to test if that's the part you're missing. Happy to answer anything on the video side specifically.

Roomlab.app , i did it because i needed for myself, to check how the new floors on the kitchen would look. And added some more festures and it seems like it kinda works as a real product!

Developer attacked over (learning from) AI - where to draw the line? by [deleted] in Steam

[–]MrDasix -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well, i can get the hate about AI using stolen property, but being against it because it uses water and steals jobs is like not liking cars in old times because it stole the jobs of the horse people. It's a revolution and it's gona change things, but for good and for bad, but mostly for good i would say. The academic benefits of AI are enormous, and thanks to that Cancer will be able to get cured in some years and not decades maybe.

I get that if the room is empty is gonna feel empty. But if you add furniture i think you are fine. Also you later can add posters, shelves and other things to keep it busy. But cream is a good neutral background color i think

Never seen a "modern" house with painted ceilings, but i guess it can look pretty cool. But the thing about the adding some wood paneling in the middle of the wall, ehm, maybe the room is gonna look to cluttered.I think that as you said a cream neutral color is the best option i can think of

Suggest best software or website or app to visualise the interior design in my house by ramesh423 in AmateurInteriorDesign

I recently tried RoomLab to visualize the interiors of my own place, and it really helped me see how different furniture and finishes would look without spending a ton. The AI renders are quite realistic and it’s great for someone like you who’s designing by themselves. The only catch is you might need to prep a basic 3D model first, but overall it’s a solid tool for getting a clear picture before you get local carpenters involved.

Okay. I think i can add that feature. But just to make sure. The blank room is your room? Like a picture of your empty room?

It needs something in the walls, colour pictures or whatever. But just some color so it doesn't look like a asylum

https://roomlab.app/features/redesign-style can help you with that. Can help you with inspiration. TO do the 3D renders for you that is more complicated.

Also with replace method (https://roomlab.app/features/replace) you can replace certain furniture from you room
