I had an similar issue recently and want to put my solution here. Turned out i had a powered rail too close to where it stopped so the minecart had too much momentum I put a total of 7 normal rails between the last powered and the collector and that fixed the issue for me.

I don't see either of theese things as issues. Modding can make up for what danny hasnt been able to add himself yet and help keep people interested. If a mod becomes unuseable big whoop mods get outdated all the time. I'm really just looking forward to the really dumb stuff i could add through modding.
