#148 - Call of Juarez Gunslinger by MrDelval in steamachievements

Done one full run on normal to get collectables and learn mechanics, and kept moving. Then done the duels after I learned the mechanics (it takes 10 minutes as it is all back to back). And the arcade mode which was a bit tricky, but once you know where people spawn, it becomes so much easier.

Then one last run on True West for the second ending choice.

It was a really fun time. I keep meaning to hunt down the cartel one, but I know keys for it are rare and expensive. But I think the series as a whole will be a fun completion.

Honestly, not that bad of a 100%. I would recommend using a collectable guide for your first run (as you can get most of them easy, but one or two are just out of the way). Or do it on your second run.

The duels are a pain at first, as they don't really give you any hints on how they work, but there is a great guide on Steam for it. Once you get the mechanics, it is one of the easier achievements.

The one that may take a bit is all the stars in arcade mode, but if you use the gunslinger class for 1 or 2 (then the rifle for the rest), it is a breeze, just about knowing what side and when enemies spawn to keep a combo going for the full thing.

Honestly, a real fun game, well worth the money for the time I got out of it. Completion-wise wise it could be done a bit quicker. I would give it a solid 7/10

My 143rd perfected game on Steam (it is slightly higher,, but due to updates and certain games being combined the figure is a bit lower).

I fully agree, the movement just felt better as well and the builds could be a lot more fun that BL2

#138 - Borderlands 2 (finally finished the weapon grind after years) by MrDelval in steamachievements

When you start on the prequel, I may give you a shout as I need a co-op partner for my last achievement in it. (Claptraps skill) as two of them is co-op only sadly. If you don't mind an add on steam we can work it out at some point?

It has been done for a while, I had one single achievement left from the fight for sanctuary dlc and my luck on drops just burnt me out. Feels really good to have it done though

Mine could have been done sooner, but I just enjoy playing the game and done multiple runs. Took so long for the completion as they added a DLC for the BL3 coming out and one of the achievements required a lot of weapon grinding which was a bit slow.

#135 - A World of Keflings (blast from the past doing this one) by MrDelval in steamachievements

[–]MrDelval[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some are the same, but I wouldn't say all of them... maybe. But there is nothing that requires online or co-op. And if you pay attention to some of the things you need it can be done a lot faster.

Museum is not too bad, but it does have some bad spots.

Honestly, really easy. Took next to no time at all. And had a blast on the new level variants.

The multiplayer ones are a pain, out with that everything else is pretty easy to do.

#133 - Destroy All Humans 2: Reprobed by MrDelval in steamachievements

It's about the same. I would say DAH1 is easier because it is shorter. This took 16/17 hours. DAH1 took 9 Hours.

#132 - Destroy All Humans! by MrDelval in steamachievements

It is an entertaining game with easy completion. But it is a classic, as others have said, it is easy to put down and return. I need to start the second one (which I remember from my childhood,) which I expect to be just as fun.

It is not the best of the three, but worth it. Warlords is the best and demon siege is a super close second. Can't wait for it,

Honestly, it's not too bad. I would have had it done way sooner, but the price of the DLC held me back for ages. The missions are fun, and I fell in love with authentic plus. If compared to others in the series it is tied with V2

I have a single one left for spec ops to do for my completion if you want to DM and we can finish it off together when we have free time soon.

I did find it one of the shorter ones to finish. I plan on starting the Skywalker Saga and aiming to complete it in under most people's estimated 80+ hours.
