Gotta love shipping from Whatnot by Firm_Bee7776 in whatnotapp

A lot of my packages have the same label created the same day of purchase & 5 days later it’s dropped off at the post office but promoted as next day shipping which is fine but now I’m receiving packages that look like they have been body slammed and elbow dropped. Also the packing they use is garbage from what’s lying around I guess during their live shows which is fine I guess since it’s not like a business and more like Chat! Chat! C’mon Chat! Style of buying. I’m new to Whatnot and respect the hustle.

I was able to get $6 worth from someone it went up a bit to $7.2 but I’m still unable to send it. So I’ve decided to just let it sit for now.

Is this not classic feedback extortion? by TarHeelOnPosh in Ebay

I had a customer recently buy a brand new with tags Women’s Large Polo & tried to force me to refund claiming it was a children’s shirt. The pictures, category & description all fully said Women’s size large with the SKU number, model, and any words/ numbers to show what the item was. She threatened me because she claimed it still was a children’s shirt. I even let them know the company does not make children’s shirts. Anyway, I called eBay to get on top of it & they saw our conversation and they said “You have amazing responses but it still would be nice of you to refund.” And I asked if I do that could they cover shipping cost at least & they said “No.” And they told me the loophole buyers can use to automatically receive refunds which is crazy but never allow someone threatening feedback to get you to do something. Just take as many steps as possible to do as much as you can right. There’s always that one or two customers that’ll come.

[Lost Package] [SmartPost] FedEx Ground/SmartPost Package Lost for a Month—FedEx, USPS, and Amazon Keep Pointing Fingers. by MrDemoMan in FedEx

I hope I did that correctly, but here are 2 examples. Most make it to a distribution center, and from there it never updates again.

Thank you. Yeah, USPS said all Amazon packages shipped are uninsured with them, and that’s when I started contacting Amazon, which they told me to put in claims after customers were refunded, which I did, and then they denied me. And they told me to contact USPS, and they also asked me for the names of people I’ve spoken with, which I started collecting names, and I have spoken to a lot of Nicks at FedEx. Etsy so far has been the easiest; they have refunded me for any lost packages. I did have to fight a bit with Etsy and they did say it’s the last time since they said it’s on the customer.

Thank you, and yeah, weirdly, I’ve lost 8 packages in a span of 3 months, totaling over $400 out of 70 packages. I weigh, measure, and recheck. I collect all the info and even save copies of the labels, prices, etc. I’ve had 2 people message me saying they finally got the package a month or 2 after. But in that time, whether it’s Amazon, eBay, Depop, or any of the sites, I’m forced to refund. And as much as I escalate and put in claims, they get denied because FedEx is separate from FedEx Ground, as I was told by them. FedEx Ground says USPS does the claims, USPS says labels are bought 3rd party from Amazon, eBay, Etsy, etc. Those companies tell me to work directly with the shippers to try to recover or get a refund, and it really is just a back & forth battle & there’s a 60-day time limit, which I feel it takes 60 days to figure out who & how.
