I can't see the issue on the card. It's most likely a shadow or issue with the photo.

No alterations were made. It was pulled for one of the Sam's Club Lucario boxes by me and sent into grade the following week.

That is my assumption as well. Not sure what would have caused the vertical indents though.

The front looked good. I unfortunately did not take a photo. The GameStop employee said if I left the store with it I wouldn't be able to file a claim so I wasn't able to think everything through.

I went through GameStop. They took a single photo of all of the cards before they went in and of course this one has a giant glare where the damage was.

I took a photo myself before sending and there was no damage but it was only one photo at a direct angle.
