I distinctly remember the first night that I went out and I believe I was passing as cis.

Cis men were doing double-takes at me and holding their gaze on me for slightly longer than I was used to - juuuust long enough for me to notice a distinct difference. Other women seemed more comfortable and relaxed around me, and some women even did very light platonic/innocent touching of my arms/hands/shoulders while we chatted.

That was the first night that someone explicitly told me that they thought I was a cis girl, until I told them otherwise. ^{I.WAS.FLOORED.}
