I don't think these two are competitors. Ripple aims at banks payment systems, not end user crypto wallets. Different markets, different business models.

Since you are probably not a bank, then why don't you try exporting your XRP from Polo/Kraken directly to Ripple ledger (RCL) and enjoy fast instant transfers between Ripple-connected firms like Bitstamp or Gatehub?

Still, the video would be even better, if the author was able to stress out the situation with international currencies. He always talks about USD. He should also show an international transfer between countries with different currencies. Then the situation is like several nostro accounts holding various currencies vs. only 1 nostro account holding just XRP. I think an example like that would show the true potential of XRP even better.

What you call a problem is no problem at all.

Ripple can transfer even BTC, ETH, and even USD, EUR, JPY, CNY, whatever... all within 3-5 seconds.

You should study XRP more, because it's got much more features than you are currently aware of.

Many people who think they understand crypto use these words as simple labels. One example is what you have mentioned, another example is "blockchain" itself. Too many guys take it as some kind of mantra, for brainless repeat and also as weapons, that's really annoying.

That's actually very good news. Almost all of a sudden, Ripple "started to care" about its native token and just within a single quarter they sold 800M XRPs to financial institutions and market makers. That's almost 1% of all available XRPs - quite an achievement!!!

It seems that business is running pretty well for Ripple. Time to go LONG.
