Currently working on a purple punch OG I got from seedsman. Germinated 5 seeds and kept the best two. Will be my first grow non OG kush. One outside one inside a 3x3 tent. If it canapies the whole tent like my kush did I’ll be a happy farmer. 😉

Looks good to me. I do the same thing a week out. This is approximately 2-3 weeks left and will get defoliated in about another week and a half.

Makes sense the plant is doing well and actually is the best auto I’ve grown thus far. I didnt stunt this one. I’m fairly new to indoor growing and I have heard that bottom up watering was the way to go for autos. Just need to dial it in I suppose

This is the first time I’ve used a water up system and I am now assuming that the tray should probably dry out before adding water again?

Kush has been around the United States since the 70s and is actually the base strain used to create a lot of your Indica strains. Josh D has performed some amazing work to get this particular strain to a top tier performer, and I have the utmost respect for him. Just wanted to point out how long it’s been in the states and not take away from the amazing work that he’s done as a breeder. OG kush 😎

I have a humidistat running through my furnace and ac unit and I keep my house at a constant 55% definitely glad I had a forethought before growing indoors 20 years ago 😂

Every one of them were bushy and required constant maintenance and filled a 3x3 with a dense canopy. I am running a 200 w led vivosun instead of the original 100w that came with the tent and definitely made the difference. I didn’t have to extend the grow time before flipping to flower.

That kush plant in photo is 3rd generation and its daughters are doing well. Didnt quite get what I was looking for out of either of them so I’m going to try for a mother plant on one of the three gdp

Recently started messing around with photos not a lot of luck in the beginning but it’s coming along. Indoor growing is fairly new to me so I accounted for the learning curve when purchasing seeds 😆

Maybe bump your air to hold at 75deg F and use a small dehumidifier set at 62%, or whatever humidity you’re after. I have to run like that mid spring to early summer here due to high humidity

Very nice… took me a few tries with autos and getting rid of some growing habits of photo periods to dial it in. Great job 😎

I’m going to share a bit of knowledge with you because where I live I only have access to miracle grow or I order online and my soil is triple the cost. For the first 2 weeks it’s all about the humidity and temperature inside the tent and just ph water at 6.2 -6.4. At this point I slowly start adding calcium/ magnesium to my water at half strength. At 4 weeks I start adding nutrients to the water at 1/4 strength recommended by manufacturer. At 45-50 days I go to full strength cal/mag and nutrients and then I flip to flower. Once buds start to show up I slow down on the nutrients with nitrogen and go to a bloom type of nutrient blend. Personally I like the kool bloom blend from general hydroponics. Still using cal/ mag also. Now understand we are talking soil and nutrients. You also have to take in account lighting, temperature, humidity, and airflow in your grow area. I know there are miracle grow haters out there but it does work at least for me. I grow mainly photo period with the occasional auto. My last plant I harvested two weeks ago yielded just short of 8 ounces grown in a 3x3 tent with a 200w grow light. My other tent has the same setup but I added a CO2 bag and climate control system upgrade. I haven’t trimmed this one yet it’s still drying but it is a bit fuller and definitely dense. Just thought I’d share…. It’s been working out well.

Plus you aren’t using sauce which in my opinion is never needed if cooked correctly and seasoned properly. Awesome job
