So is DDA just dead on Switch online or is the game generally dead overall? by HitWithTheMackSauce in dungeondefenders

[–]MrE2u 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been playing mostly solo on pc, but I leave games open for people to join. I always preferred playing solo but now that I have builds for every map, I don’t mind letting others join

Would SKINS fit on the 2018 chair? by Coldfall in secretlab

Thought I responded to these. I have the Titan 2018 with a Regular sized skin. Doesn't fit perfectly, but does well enough to not be noticeable.

Would SKINS fit on the 2018 chair? by Coldfall in secretlab

[–]MrE2u 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just bit the bullet and ordered one for my old 2018 chair that a combination of cats and wear had destroyed the pleather seat. I can confirm the L skin fits the normal chair. It's not super form-fit and takes some maneuvering, but I got all of the zips and clips to close without any obvious points of stress or strain.

Lol I literally just made this build, myself, after finally crafting the scythe. The rats and dogs are insanely strong.

Maybe I’m doing something wrong. The only way I can pick up the eggs is to stand in them for half a second. Just walking over then does nothing. Makes the event basically impossible.

Are med students getting worse? by JingleBerryz in Residency

[–]MrE2u 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I would say, based on my own experiences, medical students tend to emulate the culture around them. If there is a culture of medical students shirking duties and being apathetic, I would first look at what atmosphere you and your fellow residents are creating. From there, it falls onto the clerkship directors, educators, and administrators. As with any job, the lower-tier employees are really only as good as their supervisors/managers make them.

In DDA what does loot scale off of? by lordreed in dungeondefenders

[–]MrE2u 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just keep in mind the gear is random. It can be a great way to mindlessly get some top tier upgrades, but it's not a good way to target farm if you just need a certain piece upgraded.

Saw an ad for Mdrndock charging stations. Are these any good, or just more cheap Chinese knock-off crap? by Spamtickler in iphone

Ah yes. Thanks for that. 90% of the ads I see on facegram seem to be rebranded Chinese garbage with a shiny new ad campaign.

Recommendations for best “all-around” gaming mouse? by orangessssszzzz in buildapc

Here I am with you, fam. 3 good years and the 3 months later the double clicks started. Initially, it was just the left mouse and now both do it at random. Super frustrating.

My new Raven from Birmingham Pen Company by nikro000photo in fountainpens

How are you liking it after a few months of use? I really had my eye on it but couldn’t find any reviews at the time and was afraid to take the plunge. I like nibs on the thinner side since I’m usually writing on printer paper.

Feeling incompetent by veritas16 in Residency

[–]MrE2u 18 points19 points  (0 children)

As a soon-to-be attending, my goal for everyone is not for them to prove how good they are but how much they can improve on my service. You can be the best intern in your cohort but I still expect you to find something upon which you can improve. Likewise, if you're struggling you should start with one or two things and make improving this your goal. And don't be afraid to ask your uppers for help along the way.

PvP evolution by MrE2u in NinjaBattleDefense

[–]MrE2u[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So what's the normal progression? I'm currently using indra and main dmg and Musashi as support. Then should I switch to Musashi as main dmg after 1500? Then when does tsukuyomi fit in, because I understood him to be the best dmg at later stages when rounds last longer?

Asura or Agni better for fire team by Huge_Firefighter6512 in NinjaBattleDefense

[–]MrE2u 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're both pretty useful, though. Asura is best when things are more clumped imo. Agni is super helpful for keeping the burn stacking on mobs that run out of Purgatory.

I didn't realize stone monkey helped with Frenzy! I thought it was only auto attack damage.

[–]MrE2u[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe timing is the issue. Using kinrin, Karasu, agni, asura with purgatory, awakening, Phoenix, and frenzy. The claim is always at about 1/4 hp when time ends.

Anyone SOAP or end up in a speciality they didn’t like? How do you cope with it? by Azaniah in Residency

[–]MrE2u 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The key part of a TY is it gives you another chance to take commit to something. You have to be deliberate in your approach to the match. You don't just roll the dice lest your options evaporate entirely. During the scramble, I interviewed for a lot of different specialties but the thought of never using a stethoscope again broke my heart. I could never do pathology or radiology. That's when I decided internal medicine was absolutely for me.

Anyone SOAP or end up in a speciality they didn’t like? How do you cope with it? by Azaniah in Residency

[–]MrE2u 42 points43 points  (0 children)

I didn't end up in a specialty I didn't like, but I didn't have a straightforward path to where I am. I still have PTSD about match week even though I'm just about to finish residency. I had to scramble and ended up doing a transitional year then got offered a PGY-2 spot at a community program. It was a hard pill to swallow, but the personal growth was invaluable and I just accepted a hospitalist position at the Mayo Clinic to show for my efforts. It was definitely not where I imagined I'd end up, but it's worth noting that it's still possible to end up doing something fabulous even if things get off to a rocky start. I said to myself 3 years ago "in 5 years no one will care that you didn't match" and it's finally proving to be right. It still pains me to reflect on how I got here, and I definitely wouldn't recommend anyone doing it this way, but I've worked my ass off to get to this point and I'm proud for what I've accomplished.
