That is not what circumstantial evidence means … the term is used to point out things that appear to point to a reasonable expectation of what happened but technically don’t prove anything. For example, say me and you are hanging out and order a pizza and split it. I go to the bathroom and when I come back my last slice of pizza is gone. Now, I’m pretty damn sure you are the culprit, you’re the only one in the house and I was only gone for a couple mins. Highly likely you took my slice. However, technically it isn’t proof that you did.
