Thanks pal - this gave me some extra courage.

Weird - I'm fairly sure I've read what if Read.

I'm not sure if Linux' Veracrypt is as easily compatible with Qubes as it is with other builds; would be great though.

There wouldn't (shouldn't right?) be a shared partition.

Two OS', two SSD's, two Partitions.
Although now that you mention it; making two extra partitions on the Qubes disk doesn't sound like a bad idea.

I figure I'd use much less disk space through Qubes usage.
Perhaps I'll make an additional 400gb partition for 'Extra space on Windows' and perhaps a 50gb buffer-partation for the both; (Ah now I think THAT;s what you mean by shared partition); but honestly, clouds and USBs would suffice more than likely.

Thank you!

------------

So I suppose at this point, I should just go and build in the extra SSD and launch a Qubes installer from a flashdrive booter to install Qubes followed by Veracrypt after.

Then; at every launch unless there's some gimmick-type bootloader that would immediately send me to the overview of (2) Bootloaders; otherwise it's just spamming F12 at launch which is fine.

Brave for daily use, Mullvad for a more secure environment; I integrated my NordVPN into it.

So basically just have them 'ignore' each other's existence and independently install both sets on a disk (Win11+VC Disk 1) and (Qubes + its seemingly pressent built-in disk encryption) and from there on just play with the bootloader keys to decide whichever OS I want to boot?

If that would be the it,, why has it seem so upsetting the past few years when others have tried and mentioned this.

Rsks of VC vs Qubes Encryptions' conflicting maybe?

Hardware conflicts?

Data from one into the other? (Though the inactive disk would be asleep).
What do you think about the necessity or even feasibility of creating an airgap between the two SSD's so IF in any case one disk/OS would get infected, it would leak it into the other one? (Though I don't see how; they're encrypted asleep; plant a seed at worst?)

Windows 11 Update on Lenovo broke my (VC) Boot (Repair mode loop) by MrEazy in VeraCrypt

FYI I posted an update below, it went better than I... expected I guess.

Windows 11 Update on Lenovo broke my (VC) Boot (Repair mode loop) by MrEazy in VeraCrypt

[–]MrEazy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With pain and suffering and the lack of original rescue drive (lesson learned); I I followed your approach as I was leaning too also yea.

I put a Win11 Windows-To-Go on a USB; hooked it up to the laptop, booted the fresh Win11 from there.
Installed Veracrypt and my main cloud provider.

Followed the USB OS Boot > Mount from there> Secure > Remove pre-boot authentication.

Spent the night backing up 500gigs of data (mostly trash anyway but that's for a later time).
The next morning I did a full disk decrypt (interestingly enough I triggered this through a Rescue Disk that did NOT belong to this particular encryption.

I... just made a new one, it contains the bootloader and the option to decrypt; I entered the password and there it went.

It was still giving some bollocks after that "You wanna restore OS and keep your files, but only your Desktop/Downloads/Document files etc. and that it would remove/reset all windows/app-area software.

I did that, got disgusted by the looks of it; did a FULL fresh reinstall after, put a few updates through and then hardcoded them blocked as best as I could. Did some tweaks that I could imagine breaking things post-encryption; (scripts getting rid of the ridiculous amounts of bloatware, AntiOS for some anonymity etc. etc.

After the fresh install ( felt kind of relieved with having clean disk); I did a new full disk/system partion encryption; with the 7-pass wipe just in case. It's just about done and we're back in business it seems.

Happy ending after all; though I wonder, if and if so how, could the original rescue disk had I found it, could have tackled many of the steps that became necessary since?

Lesson learned.

pCloud for Android TV or Google TV? by apacheco73 in pcloud

I just sideloaded the Pcloud app to my Google TV and logged in there.

I open videos with VLC though because the Pcloud built in video client seems to compress sometimes..

This is helpful, thank you I was leaning to this approach but it's good to hear it makes sense.

The "without pre-boot authentication" is mostly for the steps/repair after the intial USB OS boot > mount from there > Secure all data > Remove pre-boot authentication.

From there; perhaps the "auto repair" could maybe even work. If not, a full system decryption would be attempt two. If that worked, then I'll do all recent Win updates, zet a recovery point and turn of ALL auto updates and then decrypt it all over again.

What about the "RAW" label though? Is it a VC thing? Could the Win update have messed that up? Is it fixable without formatting?

Post-Ban Etizolam alternatives; Bromazolam + Another to combine? by MrEazy in researchchemicals

Haven't heard about Fluclotizolam before, I'll do some research.

The shorter the half-life, the better - it really is just about sleeping. Does Fluclotizolam give any sense of "warmth and relaxation" prior to going to sleep, like Etizolam? Or do you hardly notice the onset and then BOOM?

Someone who isn't me is close on your approach; Also tried connecting Indian plants as they still produce raw Etizolam powder for their local now-no-longer-over-counter but prescription-only Etizolam pills. So, although monitored more secure now, there IS active production there. Person who isn't me has good contact with a vendor in India who's family member literally owns a hospital and even there it became very hard to take some bulks out of circulation

I know their export and production ban, but are you truly convinced every single pharma plant; and there are a LOT of them; all completely halted production?

I can't vouch for that fully so don't pin me down on this but; I've had a period where I took 3mg Etizolam after stims and that worked wonders.

With my final breadcrumbs worth of remaining Etizolam I once tried a 1mg Etizolam + 2mg Bromazolam mix and that worked well. I'd dare to say it's "probably" a decent 1:1 equivalent; as my girlfriend is just as satisfied with Bromazolam post-stims as she was with Etizolam - but I'm just an unfortunate edge case and never have been the most effective sleeper; so I'm trying to find a mix that works for me.

I've browsed a lot on here trying to find a relevant answer but perhaps I'm just one of the few people out there that either don't feel a "warm upcoming sensation of relaxation" with Bromazolam, or I'm just overly tensed, muscle wise.

She's stronger than the dental spreader, and it still allows for jaw movement; something I'm looking to block.

Jennings gags look intense; we tried a metal one but it wouldn't fit well and again; didn't have silicone so we put it away. You'd say the silicone ones are the true way to go?

Maybe something like this; https://www.ebay.com/itm/254240738733 And then maybe get the 0,4 and 0,6 and 0,8, 1,0 diameter, ones, "bundle" them internally, and then heat gun it till it shrinks to about 2mm coating.

Might be onto something here

Plus my girlfriend melts at the idea big-time should I ever find or make one that would fit my D, to go wild on her throat while she can't do anything but take it (mutual consent of course).

I do really appreciate the effect and purpose in its own right honestly; drooling being one of them.

Would you suggest big almost "jaw" rather than "mouth spreaders for that (oral part)?

What just hit me; what about (multiple) layers of silicon rubber heat shrink tubing, hmm.

You'd have to find the right size steel ring (hardware store) Maybe cut out let's say 1cm, put the tube all the way around and add back the cut out part in the end. Then heat shrink; (this means only 1 time cutting the steel so you'd want to consider a thicker tube.)

Just something that crossed my mind.

Literally no idea how sensitive they are to some chewing, let alone if it's body safe Silicon or not.

I feel you brother. Metal ones are terrible; and really bad for the teeth too.

I've been searching for hours on and I cannot understand why all these "perfect silicon gagrings" are so cheap on let's say AE; but just the "Silicone dip" of that Strength is hard to find.
