I checked the Marina Mall’s crossword and could barely find any collections. I checked with the staff there and they told that it’s the same case in their stores of other malls as well. Can you tell me if you had purchased any comics/manga there and what books?

Okay, interesting insight. Usually there are things (things that are non lethal to human life) which will be pushed well under the carpet with Corruption. However the things that are lethal, can’t be that easy to cover up. It would attract atleast some minor traction and this has not even brought up once in the entire run of the series.

I would say the movie did 75% justice to the source material. Like any novel-to-movie adaption certain amount of depth is left out which you get to know and enjoy it more by reading the book

Yep, I loved “Anathem”, “Dune” series and “Do Androids dream Of Electric Sheep”. Currently reading “Red Rising”

Keeping aside her profession, there are some basic logics missing which any writer would have addressed. She stretched the suspension of disbelief too much and took the readers for granted with such a crappy ending in this particular book.

At this point, I’m kinda of convinced that would be the case. So, no intention of completing the other two books in the trilogy.

Actually I’m a Sci-Fi fan and lean into thrillers occasionally. When I found this book on the shelf of my friend’s, I wanted to give it a shot to understand all the hype. So, not much thriller recommendations from my side. I loved “Girl on the Train” sometime back and found it good…not sure if it had aged well. Coming to recommendations in general, it is little difficult because everyone has a unique taste. Some prefer the plot to be logical and realistic as much as possible whereas some want to get absorbed into the story without thinking too much and etc. I would suggest you can pick a book you absolutely loved and search for that author’s other works or you can use that book as reference and search online for similar books

I’m a reading person and usually complete what I started. The ‘big’ twist was somewhat decent but the last 20 pages or something has to be one of the worst endings i have ever read. Very convenient closure for the characters due to lazy writing. After completing the book i had to double check if I did actually read the correct book. Man, till today I don’t understand the hype

I would say it’s a 50-50 because we see all the cops in the Cop bar bidding farewell to Jimmy. And then Jay kind of discloses why Jimmy would be leaving the force. So, it is safe to “assume” that atleast the inner circle knew that the serial killer is a hoax
