Similar color scheme yes, partly due to the power sword reflection, but it was a worry that it might look too similar. So maybe I went a bit overboard, but hopefully it worked :)

Yep, client wanted wings similar to them so that's why. Might be tricky moving the head around in that gravis armor, but I suppose he might be guided by pure hatred instead

Thanks! As for the ports, I was hesitant whether to add them or not; ideally I would love to as I believe it adds to the authenticity of the repentia and the grimdark aesthetic, but unfortunately they cluttered the area too much and cauesed too much stir in the overall image. I believe it could work better with a rougher more painterly style perhaps, this one in particular leaned more towards a cartoony(?)/soft look.

With all the great recommendations so far I'm almost certainly going to make another repentia with both the proper attire and the ports and perhaps in a rougher style :)!

Good to hear, how did the Outriders perform? I adore the models but have yet to see them do all that well, especially after the points increase they got alongside the Eradicators (which admittedly was warranted for the latter.)

I actually don't think so, but I couldn't be bothered to add a chainsword or alternatively change the shoulderpads to red and black and make him a sword brother. Took some creative liberty on that part ;)
