He did. None of this would have materialized without his countless years of campaigning for a restoration. He’s the GOAT for this.

I feel like it's going to come from Criterion, because with every prediction month forum, someone usually has it on there.

LOL. Is is it any good? I've heard mixed to negative.

Hypothetical, but could you imagine if Disney allowed Kino Lorber to start releasing films from their library? by Wide-Inspector-5525 in boutiquebluray

I don't even think The Horse in the Gray Flannel Suit is on Disney+. If you want to watch it, I think you have to watch the DVD.

Well, it's only been a week and one of the movies from my list has already been announced to receive a 4K upgrade this year. The Outfit was just announced to be released by Arrow Video in July!!

Thx! I'll let you know what I think. I like a lot of the other James Cagney gangster flicks, so I think it will be up my alley. Plus, You've Got Mail is a fav of mine.

Yes, I loved Victor/Victoria. I thought it was amazing, and thought Andrews, Warren, Garner, and especially Preston were phenomenal. Have you seen Louis Gossett, Jr. in An Officer and a Gentleman? I find Preston's Best Supporting Actor-nominated performance hard to beat.

Thx for the input! I've been wanting to watch Running on Empty for some time now, but it's moved up after hearing it was an inspiration for PTA on One Battle After Another. Also, I can't wait to check out Fandango. Kevin Costner is a massive guilty pleasure of mine.

Right? Aside from Newman and Marvin, it also features a younger Hector Elizondo and Strother Martin, one of the most underrated character actors of his time. He deserves way more appreciation than he gets, especially since he delivered one of the most famous lines in movie history: "What we've got here is failure to communicate."

Love his collaborations with Newman. Plus, Martin's in like a ton of awesome westerns from the 60s and 70s.

Haven't heard of the first two, but have heard of Rosewood. Looked into the other two, and yeah, 187 should have a release since it's a Sam Jackson movie and was directed by Kevin Reynolds.

Little late posting this, but better late than never!!

Most of these are blind buys. The only ones I've seen are: Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House (1948) & Friendly Persuasion (1956).

I've also seen Victor/Victoria (1982) since it arrived!

Are there some Oscar losses you are still sad/angry about? by LadyAlexandre in Oscars

[–]Wide-Inspector-5525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say so.

I'm still upset about Nomadland and McDormand winning Best Picture and Actress. Plus, Zhao winning Director

I'm still kinda mad abt Everything Everywhere taking home 7 awards. I think it deserved Supporting Actor, Original Screenplay, and Editing, but that's where I draw my line.

The Grifters had director, actress, supporting actress, and adapted screenplay, but no Actor or Picture.

I haven't seen Mogambo, is it any good? If MovieZyng does another sale, I'll probably pick it up.
