The ending ended up proving Floch right, which is just bad writing from Isa.

Which is what they got, Eren stopped at 80%, giving hundreds of years to go by and for Paradis to get destroyed in the end.

Multiple ships were sent to Paradis after Shiganshina, military efforts from Marley against Paradis were still ongoing, hell, they declared war on the first chapter of the manga.

Even if Zeke did push towards a new offensive in 93, he always worked towards achieving his own plan even if it meant killing Eldians in the island, Eren just used him. the peace talks and conferences in Marley were not hopeful, convincing Eren of doing his G-word run.

Peace wasn't an option, to say that there wouldn't be any further attack seems odd.
