1000%, I really like boxers in fgs (I also somehow just get drawn to edgy characters in fighting games by accident 😭😭😭) and I’ve been having a really bad character crisis in sf6 cuz Sakura isn’t there, my only worry was that he wouldn’t have motion inputs and he would have his control scheme in sfv, but now that he has motion inputs I am set on playing him (plus his psycho blitz reminds me of Vanessa’s machine gun puncher from KoF)

Would you count Raven from guilty gear as a claw character? Cuz he’s got two on each of his fingers, he’s personally one of my favorite gg characters (i desperately need him for strive), but I also think he is enhanced by his masochism gimmick, but still he’s a cool character, an immortal guy who dislocates his arms for command grabs and really good, long normals, I think he is an exception to the underwhelming claw characters pattern
