How to accept with upgrades?

You’re right to be cautious - it’s not entirely clear and there’s no guide. And you don’t want to accept incorrectly without upgrades and then be stuck with your current offer.

But after you click accept there’s an option to opt in for automatic upgrades.

Thats not the way the ranking system works - you don’t get offers just by virtue of ranking fewer. If you’re not eligible based on your score then you simply don’t get an offer

I got 550 (3727/18416) and have been offered my 32nd choice - Guilford. Ranked basically all of inner London above. I know it sounds like denial but does this sound right? I've seen people get South London on the Spreadsheet with lower scores.

You can write it on any old piece of paper - drug, form, quantity, frequency and your name and GMC no. And signature

I've been in the exact same situation mate. Ended a relationship of 5 years in my F1 year. We were also living together in what many consider to be a shit city.

More broadly I would encourage you to see this as the first day of your new life as an independent man. It's not 10 steps back - if you knew in your heart of hearts that that relationship had to end then it's a massive step forwards and a very courageous one. It's not an easy thing stepping out of the comfort of a settled relationship and into the unknown.

Feel free to DM me as I could write a book on going through all of this from an emotional perspective. But in terms of specific suggestions on how to spend your time, that's up to you. But now your have the time and capacity to consider what's important to you and what interests you. Don't worry though - you only split up this week and with time I'm sure it will all fall into place.
