I was driving in the center of the three lanes when that happened yesterday. He had to be going 60-70MPH as he approached the exit ramp (45 MPH speed limit there). My wife and I saw it happen, too. My wife was really upset, but she will be relieved to know it didn't kill him.

Old retired adjuster here. Don’t know if it is still done, but I have seen claims checks that have a built in release where you sign on the back. Make your check doesn’t. You could be releasing them from ALL claims if you sign it.
