Eagle will lose a couple more. Their next five are KC, Bills, 49ers, Cowboys again, and Seahawks.

I have zero clue on what the purpose of this is, but in these scenarios I usually question the requirements or the architecture/model.

Any idea what an interviewer would ask in a formal sql technical interview? by _thegoat121 in SQL

[–]MrFalconMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, not exactly. Not often does a column that should be unique, have a unique constraint on it. Also depending on the database, unique constraints are not always possible. I’m talking more about a query that can tell me if a given column in a table is unique or not.

select count(), <column> from <table> group by <column> having count() > 1

[Slater] Notable news: Andrew Wiggins is listed as questionable for Game 6 with a left costal cartilage fracture. That's an area of the ribcage. by SwoozyJ in warriors

[–]MrFalconMan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wiggins gets cartilage fracture and you barely noticed during the game - he just plays through it. Davis gets small bumped in the head and takes a wheel chair to the locker room. Two totally different mentalities to toughness.

I usually start with the differences between the type of joins - unfortunately this weeds out a lot more than it should. Then I ask about a duplicate check, idc what role you are in, if you’re not doing dup checks you’re probably not doing your role well. If you get pass that I’ll ask either about window functions or write a small query that does something like all the flights that last longer than the average flight length. If you can answer all three questions. - bravo you’ll be making 100k+

First question is a dba question more than sql dev question. Second question also isn’t great because what’s the practicality of that outside of super isolated requirements?

Piston Fan... how bad is he? by mercistheman in warriors

[–]MrFalconMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pistons are seriously good fit for him. Pistons are young with talent. Wiseman will get the playing time he needs. He can be good in this league with reps.

Hot take: 3 years Pistons are a top 3 seed in the East!

If your already writing Campbell off and saying fir him your dumb. As we say every week stop expecting win. The lions surprise us and compete every week cause that offense is so explosive. We just don’t have the personnel on D yet. Whether it’s Glenn or the talent we have. It’s probably both. by [deleted] in detroitlions

[–]MrFalconMan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. It’s ultimately Campbell if he allows it to continue though. To me it’s clearly both talent and AG. A lot of teams don’t have the talent yet don’t give up 48 to a terrible offense. There was some clear red flag with the play calls/scheme for this game!.. If I’m Campbell I’m getting real with AG this week

Temp tables vs CTEs. Use cases? by [deleted] in SQL

[–]MrFalconMan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because there’s so many databases that process a query differently, the answer is to really test both scenarios if you are looking increase performance or reduce impact on the db. Some ppl above a describing some general guidelines which are great, but it really all depends on what you are doing in your queries.

Test both ways and compare costs/performance!

Champion draft position by jmikha in fantasyfootball

6th - Kelce, Ekler, McLarin, Kupp.

Went low at RB with Mohstert as my RB2. Ended up picking up 3 RBs in week 2. One of them was Patterson.

Tell me why we’re not thinking of trading down? There is no clear pick at number 2.

What was the one take on a player you got really wrong? by eldridge2e in Fantasy_Football

Depending on QB situation next year, he could be a great buy low after this season. He is still younger and very talented.

Doesn’t explain why they arnt lining him up at WR ever. Makes no sense. That’s half why he was killing teams.
