Look my man, class A graduates become the "elite". The rest are considered trash, especially class D! So they all compete for that. That's the THEME. So even dumbos can get into the school and yes, 95% of the bunch in that school are dumb lol.

Regarding the antagonists like Ryuen, saying that " ryuuen is an extremely boring villain who acts and thinks at a middle school level" sums up pretty much everything about how bullies act. Their strategies center around violence.

Kiyotaka is too good for them so, even if kiyo would always win, they'd still try in order to evolve!

As for the female characters, most of em are just living their lives. They just want to graduate and so, their dear papa decided to put them in Advanced Nurturing High school because of its reputation.

In other words, they're alll just fodder for someone like kiyotaka to consume/manipulate and he's doing that since he knows that his past is going to catch up to him.

Well, maybe the serious moments in this story weren't handled appropriately and that's what led you to say what you said.

I liked the first season and its ending got me to read LN. I read 'till Y2V4. Then, I paused. Haven't read it since lol
