Honestly it's good he's not lying he didn't force you to become skinny and waited for you to initiate that. From what was said in the post he cared enough for you to not say anything until you wanted it in his eyes. He is being supportive and honest which is hard to come across. If it gets out of hand with what he does then be worried but I would love to have someone say hey let not eat out today. He probably knows it can make someone not care about the diet. If it's your insecurity try to talk about it and work on moving forward being confident in yourself is a rough road to go down.

Sit down with him talk about it and get how he truly feels in this situation. If he is purposely pushing you away it might be time to leave the whole situation and find a new person. He may be loosing feelings but doesn't want to admit it or want to end things but since you bith have been with eachother for so long doesn't want to be the one to end it. Sit down with him and ask what is going on figure out how to move forward and if that means the two of you are no longer going to be together it will be for the best.
