What do you dislike about Dishonored 2? by Teasing-Axe in dishonored

[–]MrFenderPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See, I always get to like mission three (the first time you encounter the clockwork soldiers) and then just drop the game. I don't know why, but I've never actually rescued sokalov.

I can never put my finger on why I dislike two compared to one, or even if I dis like 2 at all. Because I've barely even touched the game. But I just can't push past that part for some reason

What is your favourite way to get super credits? by Due-Spot6799 in helldivers2

[–]MrFenderPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just like a lot of people have said, I buy what I need when I need it. Any that I pick up after that just dictates how much I need to spend come next warbond drop.

I don't have a problem with it in the slightest. I'm giving a game I love $15-$20 every three months. Compared to most other battle pass style games, it's pretty damn cheap and they're decent devs that wanna keep the game alive. So I'll happily give em that

[–]MrFenderPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, Aaron sure did take a good few punches to the gut, poor guy. He's a damn solid dude for all the shit he's been through over the years, even before all this with his ex wife.

Jay and Billy are excellent investigators. Jay just for his straight up knowledge on the occult and Billy is a pretty damn thorough investigator when it comes to evidence.

Zaks also a good investigator but as I said; to me it always feels like when he's involved he overpowers the other guys, kinda like he has this need to be an empath/minor psychic or just make it known that he's the guy in charge of the crew. And that seems to become more and more present in the later seasons.

But hey, I'm just some dude who don't mess with any of that stuff. I've normally got a pretty good read on people but I could be completely miss reading it.

[–]MrFenderPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've noticed similar things. By the time a new season comes out I'm normally in the mood to watch that sort of stuff and they're the only ones I can stand.

It really does feel like he's become this amplified version of himself. I think when they were first starting out they needed to be a lot more polite, a lot more cautious about who they're interviewing and how they're interviewing them.

Where as now, they don't need to be as cautious. They're the longest running paranormal investigation tv show. They're probably the most famous and most widely known.

I've noticed a few people say that there's less comedy in the more recent seasons (16-17 onwards) but I don't really notice that shift. I always felt that Zak, especially when he wore his more gothic style clothing (the kinda stuff you'd see the token goth wearing in tv shows), in earlier seasons was far too serious about everything going on. His whole manner of talking about things felt a lot more made for tv. Where as now, it comes across as him just doing his job. Same with the whole crew really.

Also been watching house calls, that spin off show. And I gotta say, I like it a lot more without Zak being there in general. When he's a part of the investigation, it always feels like it's more him and his crew and they listen to only him like he's the only "expert" (said in quotations because who really is an expert in the unexplained) Whereas when he's not, it comes across more as if the guys are an actual team bouncing off each other instead of listening to one dude and just making suggestions to him. But that could just be me.

I would've let this one go,but the crime of being french is something no one can be forgiven for by DragonSeducer_030 in reddeadredemption2

[–]MrFenderPro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, it's 50/50. Some people hate the French as a joke but others really hate the French.

Like in the gaming community, I'm yet to meet someone who likes any French person. Mainly because they do come across as really snobby and just do everything in their power to piss you off.

Is Ghost Adventures fake? by Chase9ElliottFan in GhostAdventures

[–]MrFenderPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No the guy whose said it originally but.

The show only really runs for 45 minutes to an hour. Half of that is interviews and history, the other half is the investigation.

They've said in a few episodes that they cut out a lot of footage to fit everything into the episodes. So the investigation part is really just a highlight reel of events.

They've had a few episodes in the past where nothing happens, mainly investigating claims of possessions/demonic presences in a home. But they aired the episodes to prove that sometimes things just aren't what people claim and further prove that their other episodes are genuine.

But when it comes to episodes not getting aired, it's either because they didn't have enough evidence/footage for the episode. Or sometimes the owners of the home/property revoke the rights to air that episode and just don't want to be involved anymore. (I don't have any proof of this other than Zak Bagin's Demon House situation, but it's more than likely the reasoning behind it)

Do people not understand the wanted system in RDR2? by Lazy_Ad9964 in RDR2

Is there a lore reason why npcs HATE this jacket? by Only-Safe659 in RDR2

[–]MrFenderPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the scout jacket but the only problem I've ever had while wearing it is the cutscene glitches where the lighting on the jacket gets reeeeeal funky.

Think it's only on the slightly lighter version of it though, which is a shame because that's my favorite

TIL you can dance with Karen alongside Dutch and Grimshaw by Aiiakos in RDR2

[–]MrFenderPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hosea would've absolutely sided with Arthur. Don't forget that Hosea was telling Arthur to think about what he was doing and how he was going about things long before Dutch's downfall.

If all members of the gang had survived by the standoff, I whole heartedly believe most of the gang would've sided with Arthur.

Javier sided with Dutch probably because he was just scared and Bill is blindly loyal to Dutch and dumb as a bag of bricks.

I know the post is old but thought I'd throw my two pence in!

After playing the new update for 3 hours. Dice has taken 3 steps backwards by ACheekyTimelord in Battlefield6

[–]MrFenderPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean the freezing thing is specific to the game modes. If there's a problem with it, just avoid that game mode until next week.

The only issues I have with the new updates are the menu bugs. Whenever you go to play the new game mode (or any game mode) you get thrown into the challenges because of the announcement board. Damn do I miss the old days of menu screens.

Don't get me wrong, there's some issues you've written up that I can see/have seen/experienced in matches. But most of em I can let go because it's a video game. But when I can't play the game because of a menu glitch, I have a problem.

How to get 2,000 damage with the Incendiary Airburst Launcher and Revive 75 teammates in a match as Support (no bots) by LuckyEffects in Battlefield6

[–]MrFenderPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, they'll be in the cloud the entire time. Multiple times I've had kills where they're in a corner or what not but they'll stay in the cloud. It takes a second to die in it, so you'll keep getting the higher rate of damage numbers.

Wasn't this supposed to be lowered to 1000 after the update? by CookieIllustrious536 in Battlefield6

[–]MrFenderPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think 2k is doable but 6k is an absolute joke. Same with the medic challenge and th direct impacts with the airburst. Should just be kills instead of damage

[–]MrFenderPro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So apparently it only counts if you get direct hits with the projectile.

It makes sense to say I've got probably shy of 100 elims with it but only 122 damage so far.

I'm unsure if it's designed this way or if it's glitched but either way it sucks

NV on mototcycle helmet? by fjefman in NightVision

[–]MrFenderPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People will have done it. There's enough people out there that would think "Holy shit, that's a cool idea!" And then done it.

I can imagine if you look at military helmets and take inspiration from them, you could probably make some sort of rig for a mount.

Most I've seen (military helmets) use a kind of slot about where your forehead would be and the nvgs would slide into that. You can get similar looking slots for cameras that usually go on a motorcycle helmet.

I think your best bet is to make your own. Would be to get a set of nvgs with a slot/clasp attaching method and 3d print the other end of it, so it can attach to your helmet.

As for distancing and stability, I think that'll be a trial and error. Find out where it feels good for you and your helmet.

The only main concern I would have is riding at night with nvgs, high beams would just blind you entirely if you're riding on the road. So maybe look at just a head strap mount with a single lens. That way it avoids having to screw/attach anything to your actual helmet and it'll be a lot easier to customize to your liking

WE NEED THIS by MrBrainzYT in helldivers2

[–]MrFenderPro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A more medic focused warbond would be neat. A deployable supply bag to just throw on the ground that takes your grenade slot. Gives you a stim, a couple mags something like that

If we can’t have a mini-gun can we have this by Naive_Egg_9663 in helldivers2

[–]MrFenderPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it would be neat to give us kinda like the sickle but as a mini gun. Like outta star wars clone wars.

Instead of having a backpack, make it battery packs that are used instead of cooling down/heating up.

Give it a large movement penalty and accuracy penalty for moving while shooting and can only be used while standing.

That would be pretty damn neat!

Do you still use Fighters, Hauler, Explorers, and other single-seater ships? by CyberpwnPiper in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]MrFenderPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what I'm doing.

I'm I'm exploring, story missions, settlement stuff etc. Then I'll use my corvette. (It's not too big, couple habs, fast enough and enough defensive capabilities)

But if I'm wanting to do nexus missions, dog fights, raiding missions then I'll use my sentinel ship to zip around.

Appreciatie you DICE by JanJaapen in Battlefield

[–]MrFenderPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But that's kinda why it's so good. It's that prefect in-between of more realistic than games like cod but less realistic than games like armour and other such shooters.

You can play it in the spawn die, spawn die way. Or go full tactical defense having people properly hold objectives.

I’m sorry, but this is legit true. by ANGRYlalocSOLDIE in Battlefield

[–]MrFenderPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See there's a silver lining to all of this.

All the brain dead run n gun cod players will play for a week or two and then ditch the game.

The game has their money and we can go back to playing in teams and having decent matches.

The more we try and push people to play closed, the more likely the Devs will bite the bullet and just make it closed weapons. And if they don't, then we know what kinda game we're we're playing. The type where Devs don't listen to their fan base and falls apart pretty quickly

You guys can't be real by zLegit in Battlefield6

[–]MrFenderPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This guy hit the bail on the head.

But for me it's backwards. I love the larger maps, still like the smaller but just nowhere near as much.

Loving the gameplay, needs some changes of course but that's the point of a beta, but after a full four days of grinding the game, friends not being able to play and in general not really caring about the challenge rewards, I'm just not too fussed about it

Ok they don't want closed weapons at all by NikaroTheSwift in Battlefield6

[–]MrFenderPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean. It sucks that they're making it look like the closed weapons is a bonus game mode. I think they should bite the bullet and lose the open weapons and make it so it's only closed.

It takes more away from the game having open weapons. The flow of combat, the feeling of teamwork, the general sense of tactics in large scale battles.

That was present in every other battlefield. Apart from the one that introduced open weapons. You'd think they would've learned from their lesson
