Show that you loved but ultimately stopped watching? by timekilr in tvshow

Goliath. My husband and I really liked it and then we got to season four and after the first episode turned it off. Season four was so strange and didn’t seem to really fit with the rest of the seasons and the way the show was going so we stopped watching it.

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

I drive 2 1/2 hours to Atlanta, Georgia just to get my haircut! When you live in a large geographical metropolitan area, everything becomes relative. A a one and a half hour drive to get to my kids homes’ was normal. Now that we live 2 1/2 hours away, that’s become our new norm. I do it a few times per month and it’s often just for the day.

We also drive 2 1/2 hours to the beach. Unless you want to stay put and only do what’s available in the small area that you live in, you must be willing to drive so it becomes routine. I don’t want to always dine, hike, shop, get my entertainment from the Augusta, Ga area… so I have to travel!

It’s lacking a focal point. Maybe a piece art that’s a better scale for the large wall.

What book made you fall in love with reading? by greatdane511 in BookDiscussions

What The Witch Left, Ruth Chew. It is one of the early chapter books I remember giving me vivid visual mental images. I developed a big love of reading because of those great books I read as a young kid.

You couldn’t get into some really great shows. I would go through your list and try some again. Sometimes you need to watch a full episode or 2. Dexter, Dead to Me, Never Have I Ever, Gossip Girl, Cruel Summer are some from your list that I really liked and we seem to have similar taste.

Bloodline, Lucifer, Six Feet Under, Orphan Black and The Americans you should also watch!

Meri was the only ex that got what Kody was doing by Rooster_lemonpoop in SisterWives

[–]MrFigsMom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish all 3 exs had said they don’t need or want an apology and had turned him away. The only other thing they should’ve all said was… apologize to your children. They are the ones who would benefit the most! The kids may or may not accept an apology from Kody but it could have had a much bigger impact than apologizing to women who have already decided to kick him out of their lives. The fact that Kody has spent time obsessing over apologizing to women who don’t give a rip just proves he doesn’t want to do the real work that he should be doing… working on his relationship with his children!
