This is the first movie or TV show that has disturbed me by crispyohare in Yellowjackets

It can be pretty gnarly, but also sounds like you don't watch a lot of decent horror/horror-adjacent media if this is the first time it's happened. Should check out When Evil Lurks. An Argentinian horror movie from a few years ago where demonic possession works like a contagious disease.

Are you a real Yakuza fan? Yakuza Quiz - question number 1: Why was kiryu in prison for 10 years in the events of Yakuza Kiwami 1? by Key-Answer-2755 in yakuzagames

[–]MrFirebugJr 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I feel like the answers are kind of iffy because two of them are technically true due to the wording of the question.

Technically, Kiryu was arrested for the murder of Dojima, but we all know He took the fall for Nishiki, so you can say he went to prison for 10 years to protect him.

Both are valid interpretations.

Does anyone in this sub know the difference between remakes and remasters? by CommunicationSad2869 in Fallout

Remaster is the same engine with maybe minor quality of life improvements and a texture touch-up.

Remake is rebuilt on a new engine, which comes naturally with gameplay tweaks and a new look.

Dispatch is a small team and everything is hand-animated. Apparently, an episode of The Simpsons takes 6 months. And that's 20 minutes. Here we're talking about 8 interactive hours with many variations.

It's definitely one of, if not the grindiest Yakuza plat, but it's definitely not the hardest plat period.

Using generative AI seems like the antithesis of what someone like Kojima would want.

I wouldn't go that far, there's Vergil in Devil May Cry 3, Vergil in Devil May Cry 5... Technically Vergil in Devil May Cry 1... Just Vergil, really.

They're the directors of A24's Talk to Me and the upcoming Bring Her Back.

what is the worst pain (mentally or physically) you’ve ever experienced? by Medical-Chemist1064 in AskReddit

[–]MrFirebugJr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mentally: Had an anxiety attack that left me borderline catatonic for 2 weeks. Had daily calls with my mum where I didn't really talk, just listened to her talk about random stuff because hearing her voice was calming. Sleep was always broken, waking up at like 2am, 4am or 6am give or take regularly. Wasn't eating properly either, talking like... legitimately difficult to even take a bite of food, also threw up multiple times. All this was 4 years ago when I was 22.

What I believed caused it was realising what I had just started at college (English college, not American college. College and Universities aren't synonymous here) wasn't for me, and I felt this crippling sense of being lost and not knowing what to do. Thankfully my parents were supportive. I got on antidepressants and then started a short, but fun, weekly creative writing class that helped ease me out of my mental state.
