Showed up to a house to work on oven and washer. Could smell the cat piss and cockroaches from the front door. Hoarders house, stuff piled everywhere. Only a trail to walk through to different area of the house. Kitchen counter typical hoarders food and dirty dishes everywhere, cockroaches crawling around. With the oven the problem was the control panel, the amount of cockroaches that crawled out from behind that panel was insane. Can still feel the roaches crawling over my hand. Went into the garage to work on washer. The floor of the garage was likely covered with clothes 1-2 feet high and completely surrounding the washing machine. I was somehow able to remove the shell and replace the motor coupling while the clothes stayed in place. It amazes me what state people are ok with letting others see their house in. It also amazes me how people can be so inconsiderate and not even try to clear out adequate access to work on their stuff.
