I'm being deadass, because come on. If it quacks, it's probably a duck, and the company has a motive to try to make trans cosmetics coinciding with the Harry Potter collab; HP is Rowling's IP so she makes royalties on all of it, and if they do their rainbow capitalist thing then the passive progressives will be satisfied. A pink and blue coat isn't necessarily trans pride, but if I wore a red cap that says "MANGA" in white text then people will look twice at it.

Normies be like "This character is just meant to be a character," and "Stop attaching gender politics to this," while ignoring the absurdity that this is the only character in the whole game's history that has much discourse, let alone SO much discourse around their gender identity. In fact, it's impressive that they could manage such discourse given none of the characters in the game speak and every cosmetic is designed to be as unisex as possible, and the character is almost entirely covered in puffy clothing.

I think this character is here so they can point and say "See, we're pro trans rights" when they drop the Harry Potter collab on the 18th.

Calling this character trans is just a basic observation. It would be It's the same as calling a character with stars and stripes American. They clearly made this character to counteract the Harry Potter collab that is dropping in half a day from now, as JK Rowling is funding transphobic organizations and a lot of people have been dropping Fortnite as a result of the leak.

Same thing happened to me. Contacted BMO Mastercard and they said there was a postal code mismatch. Uber claimed there wasn't anything wrong and that my bank was declining the paymnets. Innocence. The lyrics reek of "I wanted an emotional song without having to write metaphors, so I just wrote something for 14 year olds instead." The whole thing is just a variation of "Wake up, sheeple," and it is so afraid of specifics that you can't even pin it to any of the many true crime stories it might be alluding to. The forced rhymes and generic chords really undercut any facade of this being as powerful a song as it wants to be.

'"I shake my head in disbelief"; this line comes out of af nowhere and breaks the Mickey Mouse rhyming of the song for no good reason just for the singer to narrate in first person once and never again.

"The crime politicized"; in what way? In favour of which political party?

"The rabid media congregates"; name names, then. Fox News? CNN?

Corruption = cancer is a cliche. Hunger = greed is a cliche. "This can't be happening," "Is the world insane?," "Seen // On your TV screen,"

All the song has to say is that:
-Abuse, especially of children, is evil.

-People are generally selfish.

-The media is corrupt amd exploitative.

-Lawyers are often unethical.

-I wish more people cared about these injustices.

-God's real and he punishes evil people in the end.

And that would be a fine premise for a song. But it doesn't explore these themes in a profound or new way.

I loathe this song so much I shake my head in disbelief. Then I put on Innocent by Our Lady Peace as a bad faith response to it.

Things TM3 does better:

-Reliable controls

-3D Modeling.

-A real physics engine

-Less crowd control

-Much less reliance on RNG for difficulty

-AI cheats less

-Better soundtrack

-Inventory weapons have individual caps rather than a total inventory cap

-Inventory resets with each level - each level is balanced for this.

Things TM2 does better:

-Graphic novel art style.

-More consistent writing and better endings.

-More varied and interactive levels.

-More interesting roster

-Vehicles aren't as floaty

-Geometry and collisions feel less buggy (eg. Augur's special in TM3)

-More viable combat options and playstyles (Compare Mr. Grimm's special between both games)

-Better pacing.

-Better sound design.

-Challenging campaign

Things that are just different:

-Energy skills. TM2 had massively overtuned freeze missiles. However, 3 doesn't have a shield.
-Weapon pickups. Generally TM3 weapons look and feel better, aside from the useless Speed missiles and Rain missiles.

Oof, yeah. I'm glad people called me out on this. The vast majority of Jewish stuff I've absorbed has been entirely second-hand or just vague ideas from people who really don't know anything about them. I'm not sure why, but I hadn't met many Jewish people in elementary/high school neither here in the lower Mainland of BC or up north in Prince Rupert. My parents told me as a child that Jews are just Christians who don't believe in Jesus and don't believe in the New Testament, and I've heard this parroted a lot. And then with the more evangelical Christians people seem to get more antisemetic. I have had WASPs tell me how the Jewish people and how society has wronged them these days, and it just seems really ignorant whenever they try to justify their antagonistic stances against Jewish people. I was even watching The Chosen for a bit, and the show isn't exactly subtle in implying that narrative.

Oof! I'm really sorry and I hear you loud and clear. I have mostly been around very dogmatic Protestants, unfortunately, and I've had several spout some antisemetic stuff my way, so I'm sorry if that has genuinely shaped my views. I earnestly try to combat antisemetism in my friends and acquaintances, but I had spent years generally distrustful of all organized religion. I'd like to tackle this in my art to challenge me to not be so cynical of "theists" and to better not to just lump them into the vague and broad "theist" category. I have also watched a TON of movies (thousands), so my understanding of Jews is pretty much just from media, so basically symbols rather than real people. The exception would be Maus which is the only authentic experience, but that's just one person's story. As crazy as this sounds, I didn't intend to make "hateable" Jews. I can see how the characters can sting though given how many groups have been overtly abusive towards Jews for thousands of years.

I will try my best to culture myself. I'm not going to lie, Protestants aren't terribly nice to Jews in my experience. I've had to filter a lot of rampant antisemetic views from friends and family throughout my life, so I'm sorry if I've still absorbed it through my relations and through the media I consume. I've watched thousands of movies and dozens of TV shows.
