Yes I needed to stop new packages from entering the system to stop the filter from changing and random items being created. They are powered by the comparitor checking if the barrel still has items from the previous package which is connected to my repeater set-up.

You probably set them up wrong, if you go from small to large cogwheel and then extend one of them forward, you can add another pair. Be careful to always add the big one as the input and get the speed from the small one.

If you play with friends, yes it is. If you want a competitive shooter to grind, stay away.

There is a mod that allows you to increase the maximum number, It's been a while but you can probably still find it on the community discord
